That's it! It's official! "BEAMER" it is! J and I found a red leash w/ white paw prints, black collar w/ the prints, a little squeaky toy racecar that is red, a bed that is black w/ red piping and checkered flags appliqued and OMG! a little tshirt/vest thingy that says "DOGtona 500" w/ checkered flag design! I HAD to get that one even tho I usually think people who dress their dogs are silly. LMAO I told hubby the name and I said "like Jim Beam" and he's all "For GORDON???????" really snippy like it was for JiffyPop. Like I'd name my dog after a driver who's pit crew used to be the Rainbow Warriors, yea right! NOT! Anywho, thanks for the input, and if I can figure out how to send you a pic (prolly forward the email I got w/ his pic in it) you can see what he looks like. I can't wait!!!!!!! Oh yeah, 6 MORE DAYS TIL SCHOOL STARTS!!!!!!!

If I get him through his senior year with all credits intact I will consider my life a success.... He still needs to take a night course to make up 1/2 credit in English, a class I'm overjoyed with if he gets anything close to a C in.He has a "personal writing" class scheduled first semester and when I saw that i said "are you nuts, WTH is that"...he hates to read so writing is out the window. He said it was "computer " assigned and he'll get rid of it..So let the melee begin....Thank God for football, at least his eligibility is a carrot for the first 10 weeks of school , then there is his truck on the line, lol Terrific kid, not a scholar, but a joy to have around, most of the time (teenage angst, just you wait, lol) Hope the CA sunshine brings Robby some luck. I can't believe the bad luck he's had recently.Everyone is saying how the end of the season is usually bad for Robby, but maybe because RGM is in such perilous condition, it will force him to concentrate and step up, although I don't think the team has slacked off...just the aforementioned bas luck. I was so proud of them putting that mess of a car back together Sat night. The scanner conversation was interesting to listen to and you can't ask any more from a team then his.It's obvious it's more than a job to them.Love the new page colors, the other was hard to read for these old eyes.Well sweetie, I'm off to work in a bit, ...by the time you read this I'll be off to bed, lol. Haven't heard from you since I sent you a PM and a email about an email I got and thought you would like.... how secretive is that, eh, lol Race was decent today, I liked the new CC and for the most part he controlled Robby pretty well, another busy week for me, schedule was changed because I am the only part time employee I.m "it" and I haven't recovered from the extra hours last week, plus I worked yesterday . WE had 175 people in the library in 4 hours and I swear , half of them needed something. I only have a page with me on Sat's and she is shy. i should play football, cause I carry the ball, lol Speaking of which Richmond played their arch rivals,Armada Fri night and beat them 15-0. Yeah!!!! i worried about all the kids getting hurt because it rained about half the game and they were slipping all over the place.Mark played well for the few times he was in the game, got a few key tackles and blocks. He is not 1st string, but tries hard. I don't think he has enough of a "Killer" instinct, but the announcer mentioned 3 of his plays, so that was cool. How are the girls doing with school? Getting settled in? Jr high is tough in the beginning, and girls are so "clicky" at that age, well my dear, I'm off to bed, Mark had a date tonight but should be home in the next half hour and Wally home in the next hour, so I can settle down for thee night.TTYL,sweetie, take care, Chris

Hey Sheila!!! Glad to hear that you're alive and well...I was starting to wonder. I bet that hot tub is feeling pretty nice on these cool evenings. Maybe that's where you're spending all your time instead of on here...lol. Things are good here, went to a concert last Wednesday, got back Friday, and finished building a deck over the weekend....busy, busy. Hi Darlin! Good to hear from you! Been so busy, hard to get on here much. I had sinus surgery 2 weeks ago and the recovery was not as quick as I expected it to be! Things are getting better now and I think I will be really happy with the results. I missed the race last weekend. Glad to hear it went well (or better anyway). We are going camping this weekend. My hubby had to go get me a sleeping bag so I don't freeze at night. We don't have heat in the pop up. We normally go the Dover race, but we had a social obligation in Lancaster, so we decided to take the pop up...so much cheaper than a hotel anway. Wow another CC, huh? Amazing. TTYL!

Hey Miss Sheila, all is well, just busy...hubby still working 7/12s and I'm doing some extras around the house, plus workins a few extra Sats. you know what always rolls downhill, lol I am the only part time person , so I'm "it" because there is no overtime for "Us". Other depts .DPW etc eat up all the budget, so back to I"M it at the library. Football game Fri night about killed me..it got cold and I had a RGM sweatshirt and a jacket on. (I hate cold weather), but don't all old people say that and head south, lol. Richmond lost to Capac by 2 points, a two point conversion, but it was a great game, according to everyone around me, lol I know nothing about football. Why can't high school student race cars , legally on the football field, lol. That I would enjoy!! Things do seem to be heading in the right direction at RGM, finally. RG was strangely quiet on the radio Sunday, seemed to let the CC call the shots. Trackpass was screwed up for about half the race, with everybody's CC's and a strange voice that sounded like Mike Helton calling out car numbers UUUGGG. When it did come on thee was no crazy screaming from Robby, nor many directives. Maybe Kirk just told him to shut up and drive, lol I to wish that there would be some kind of association with RC.I did not know anything about Nascar when Robby drove for him and my daughter Paula says that Richard fired him and there is bad blood, but I have seen Richard say nice things about Robby on a few different occasions , said he hated to lose him etc. i paid attention because of Paula's statements. she thinks I'm nuts for being so passionate about RG, someone she considers to be a loser.Gets me all fired up for sure, lol. Got through the birthdays ok. over the weekend??? I don't miss any of that, lol I just empty my wallet once a week for gas, food and date money to mark and I'm done, lol Homecoming in two weeks, bought him a new suit, waiting to find out his girlfriends dress color, new shirt and tie and I'm done.When football is over he can find a part time job, if there is any left in town..with the economy many adults are now working the kid jobs. Sad for so many...we are blessed, so I ca fund a kid for a few more months, then it a whole new ballgame! Did ii catch up , o.k., lol. Leave it to me to tell you three times more than you need to know, lol. Fingers crossed for RG this week, Q's and whatever other pie he has his finger in, lol TTYL, Hugs, Chris

Hi Sheila! Good to hear from you. What a crazy world we live in! I'm starting to think everything is upside down! I need to stop watching the news. Although I will be watching the debate tonight. I'm sorry to hear you were under the weather, hope you are feeling better now. It's amazing how much a little virus can put you down, isn't it? That sounds like lots of fun this weekend. It sounds like the Apple festival we are going to next weekend in Gettysburg. We are taking the pop up. We went camping last weekend and it was soooo cold! I froze my Axx off! My husband is supposed to pick up a heater for us for next weekend. I ended up getting a head cold, too. So, I can't say that I'm much better after my sinus surgery. I go back to the ENT Tuesday, will have to see what he says. I didn't meet productivity for work this month, which stinks! I took some days off, but they still count that...so basically whether you are there or not, you are responsible. Pretty crazy...but like I said...it's an upside down world! And to think that your husband works all the time...is that like 7 days a week? Wow...that's a lot of working. But at least it's his and he is the boss, right? So Robby didn't qual well...what's new, right? We will have to see how he does on Sunday. I'm working at my 2nd job Sunday, so will miss the race, I guess. Have a great weekend! Hiya Flat! Not much going on here, cept Beamer is growning like a bad weed! Took him to the vet's for his shots and check up, he weighs almost 4 pounds! Damned puppy chow! LOL I'll email you a pic of him. I tried to upload it here but it was too big and took forever. So if you could crop it for me, I'd appreciate it so I can post it. School is going well for Jared. His latest grades are 3 A's and 3 A- 's. One class he didn't get graded on, I dunno why. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself now, Tigers are done and Nascrap is ending soon. Gonna be a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooong winter! Like it isn't already! Anywho, haven't been on most of the week, gonna go post to Path and see what's been going on here. Check your email ok? Hi sheila, I really loved the race Sunday. I was so excited not only to see Robby finally break a top ten but truly thrilled for Tony as well. I have liked Tony for years as well and was delighted to see him finally get a victory this year...and to boot at Dega! I am doing well, hanging in and just moved a month ago. I too have a fireplace now but no fire yet...still too warm but soon...this is after all why we live in Arizona the Falls are GREAT =)

Ahh yes, Planet Fitness is a great place! According to Mouse I have some parts that are starting to shift and improve! The weight is coming off but of course not fast enough - I am lighter now than I've been in many years!

Hi Sheila! How are you? I like your fall harvest page. We had some really wam weather this past week. It was 85 on Thursday. Then on Friday it dropped to 65! I cleaned out my daughter's closet. That means that she wants to go shopping this weekend. Got to go support the economy! LOL! I can't wait for the elections to be over with...hopefully things will settle down then. Who knows. So hopefully Robby will finish the race tomorrow in one piece. He has been improving on short tracks somewhat over the past year or so because he's been finishing them now, where he didn't years before. So, I'm hopefull that he won't get taken out and will finish in the top 30.

What a treat to log on and find a message from you. I just can't believe all that you have put into Halloween treats, you're right things have really changed since my kids were in school, of course the oldest is YOUR age, lol. How the did the fundraiser go?You are RoboMom, I swear. That's why God made us have our children young, or at least we used too, never heard of an 42 year old new Mom unless it was as Oops, lol. Still freezing my rear end off, and it rained Friday night besides. My husband gave me one of his rain jackets and I had a sweater and my RGM team sweat shirt on underneath so it was better but still a cold butt. They beat Lutheran North and start state playoffs this Fri, the good news. Thee bad news is it's against Marine City, there and they are unbeaten, Our guys have really stepped up and I hope it will be enough. My husband is paying for the team dinner, as a thank you to the guys and the coaches at Brengman's Thursday night. this was set up three weeks ago, so I am glad they made the playoffs so it will be special for them, instead of a "goodbye" dinner.Usually three mothers go together and have the team dinner at a home, but I work on Thurs. until night and he is still working 7/12's so it allows us to participate. After the fact, my boss will work for me Thurs. night so I can attend and someone will cover Wally, I hope. Race was great ..robby seems much more calm on the scanner than in the past, and isn't doing the absolute CC gig, there is at least some discussion, lol. The TT chassis seems to have made a big difference, and as much as I hate to see the 'old" crew members gone, it appears that Rob's decisions were goood ones. He wasn't just being mean after all, lol. Enjoy Halloween with your girls, glad they are excited. I never even get any kids at my door, they all go into town..it's a good thing, no candy laying around the house, lol. I'll be in Marine City Fri. night, an away game, Ick! Hope we have a good turnout of supporters at the game.. a lot of the players have younger brothers and sisters who will need a parent with them. I yell enough for two, but can't make up a crowd, lol. Hi there, girl! What's up? Love the little "boo"! Too cute. I'm doin alright. Can't believe election day is in less than a week. Time is flying. I've been busy which won't stop until after the holidays. We are planning a long weekend in New York in a few weeks. I'll bet your little girl likes American Girl. We love that place! My MIL asked me for a day to go Christmas shopping and I had a hard time finding a day in my schedule! That's just insane! Too darn busy! I don't want to be out buying Christmas stuff with all the crazy's...I want to get it done early this year. Here it isn't even Halloween night and I'm thinking about Christmas! Have a good Halloween!
