back in 1986 when I worked at Dover Downs, Bobby Allison tested there during the summer. I had at least an hour long conversation with Bobby in the garage. Just me,Bobby and track president Dennis McGlynn. After all these years and even after the Pocono crash, he still remembers my talk with him in the garage that day.What he remembers is we were talking about Piper airplanes and he was trying to tell me he could land a plane no problem on the backstretch..lol..

Glad to see you made it home safely! I'm still chuckling about our visit to the Draft to hang with Robby! That was a great time! He was in rare form that night! I have a job interview tomorrow at Concord Hospital because, well, I just can't make enough money in retail! Keep your fingers crossed, say a prayer or whatever! Anything to get me a different job~!

Hi Miss Sarah, you're the last of thr swoopers that I am 'visiting' tonight...What a great race today...considering how the Q's went. It was good for all of us,,,I have been about as heartsick over the downward spiral of RGM as I can take in the last few weeks. Guess Robby really did know what he was doing when he got Kirk, eh? Although i have said a hundred times here...Robby didn't just fall off the turnip truck. There area lot of things Robby can't control, but I have always felt that he knows exactly what he wants and how to get it with RGM...the deal with GEM included. He was just waiting for them to blink and they did. He may merge RGM, but he's worked too hard to sell it outright , without doing everything he can to be successful.And if he would ever drive for anyone again I think it would be for RCR. i have heard RC say he didn't want to let Robby go and would hire him again. I didn't even know anything about Nascar at that time...wished I'd seen him win a race, but I will soon.Whew, that was a tirade, eh. Well, hope you're all settled in from your adventure last week. i am still jealous!. I'm heading off to bed to read. Have a great week, take care, Chris

hi sarah just got back about an hour ago, got to see robby at the trailor, adorable as usual and i didn't buy the shirt , unfornately we were on a budget and buying stuff at the trailors wasn 't included, maybe next time. had a good time got sunburned , we brought my husband work camera which is a good one but the stupid memory card was full {with disney pics} so no pics cause we weren'y buying one, lol. all in all i think robby ran a good race with the exceptions of a few littl e mishaps........hope you had a good race day!!!!! love your pictures of the weekend at the house of mouse......ttyl
