Glad to see you made it here. Hopefully I keep up with this place better then I did with RuR. I hadn't been there in months. So it was a shock to see it gone, but I guess it was like that for everyone.

OMG - how many attys. do you work for? It's just me, my three and Ron- he's our client relations manager. He goes out to towing places, etc. to drum up accident cases. I love your page and just left a message for BOP asking for help to make my page a little easier to read and to chg. the avatar. BACK TO RACING - Qualifying was rained out so I guess Robby starts 30th - that's a shame. The 55 may qualify better (I hope so, but those cars are so different from the COT, I don't think he will learn much except how the track feels. Have a nice weekend - Joan

Hey Babe!!!! There's nothing better than routing for an underdog! That's why we follow Robby!!!!!!! And it is good to see the Cubbies lose once in awhile! They have been playing great ball all season!!! Until the past several years it was very hard being a Red Sox fan!!!!!! Now it's harder because you have to try and stay above everybody else! We always have a bullseye on our backs! That's ok though!!!! I've been playing with my page a little bit! I think I will leave it alone for awhile! Me too! I was reaaly off my feed this week, my life is scheduled around robby and Nascar! It's sick, sick sick, lol. I often play beat the clock in the grocery store to get home for practice., lol Indy is one of my favorite races because I was born in Indianapolis and first saw Robby getting into a helicopter heading to Charlotte , doing the double. Im beginning was vacation next week as it will be my turn to go to the races as I will be at the circuit Gilles Villeneuve for the Napa 200 Nationwide race. the attraction will be Patrick Carpentier racing against Jacques Villeneuve but nothing about Robby as it looks likely that he will be forced to miss the race due to lack of sponsorhip. It s so unfortunate for us, Robby fans noth of the border

Yeah, my friend was here -- I picked him up in Nashville last Friday and he was supposed to spend the week here but he got called back to Brownsville on Monday because of the hurricane and cut our vacation short! I have just been texting him for the past couple of hours and he is sooooo tired he's about to fall over. He has been at the Command Center almost nonstop since he got back and won't get to go home until probably Sunday. Has to meet with state & federal officials tomorrow about disaster relief funds, etc. Brownsville fared pretty well compared to Padre and surrounding areas but they had an emergencny plan in place and stuck to it so things went better than they could have. (See my pictures & check out my sweetie.)
I really, really like 'The Closer'!! Like I told Sarah, I also watch 'Saving Grace' but she is such a hard character to believe or like! How could a cop be such a slut & a drunk and keep the job???

I talked to my sweetie today about 3:00 and things had finally calmed down enough that he was turning it over to his second-in-command and going home. He called me back at 4:00 just as he was getting into bed and he was so tired he could barely make a complete sentence. I figure he will be pretty much unconscious for the next 24 hours or so and I won't hear from him *sigh*.

I like "Burn Notice' although Fiona is a little too extreme to be believable, but still a good show. I can tolerate 'Monk' but 'Psych' makes me want to gag. A great waste of Dule Hill's talent! He was excellent in 'West Wing'.

Oh Lord, I have seen every Law & Order show ever made at least twice I think! I have watched some CSI's and I do like them, other than David Caruso is still playing the same character he played on NYPD Blue, not to mention every other TV show or movie he every made!
Sweetie slept from 4:00 Saturday afternoon until 10:00 Sunday morning - called me when he woke up and was a little suprised that he'd been out that long but I wasn't suprised.

Ah, it's been a so-so week at work for me. One of my transcriptionists has been out on vacation this week so I have been pulling 'double duty' to my do my stuff and hers too, however, Boss Doctor is out too so that tends to lighten the load.
Sweetie manages to call 2-3 times a day but this is going to be a bum weekend for me because he will be out of the country (leaving tomorrow) to attend the wedding of a friend's daughter and the cellphones are not always reliable in those situations. Unless he calls me on the landline, I probably won't hear from him until late Saturday or Sunday. *sigh* This long-distance thing is rough!! Hope your Friday & weekend are better!

Hey TSD, nice to hear from you..don't you wish we all could be congratulating each other on a win for Robby? The scanner chatter started off so positive on Sunday, than everything just fell apart. Robby needs to hire a CC with some cajones who will tell him to shut up and drive. at least than we would know who to point a finger at.... the win will come in it's own time, just it isn't too late for RGM when it does. I can't miss a race, just hang in there getting more upset , until the bitter end. Bristol makes me dizzy just watching the race, don't know how any of the guys manage that car in a blender mode, lol. here's to better days for RGM, TTYL, take care, Chris

Oh, girl, we are baking here! Fay fizzled before she hit West TN. Temperatures are cooler the last couple of weeks but it is BONE DRY. We have had cloudy overcast weather the two days but only about 17 drops of rain. I hope your holiday weekend doesn't get screwed up! Things have been not hectic, not slow but more manageable at work this week. Been keeping up the pace without breaking a sweat, so to speak. Hope you have a good one!!

According to my 'inside source' it will probably be Saturday before they know for sure which way Gustav will go, but they are preparing for problems along the entire Texas coast just in case! Damn hurricanes!!!
