My favorite part of the race, other than Rob's 6th place finish, was Cousin Carl took out Jiffy Pop! OMG I yelled so loud! I had just got done saying 'watch, on the restart he's gonna get all in Jiffy's face and take him out". HEEEEEHEEEEEEEEE I gotta find a daycamp for J, he's bored altho he's either been at a friend's house or had a friend over almost everyday! He would have never made it if he grew up in my day. Hey Missy, Thought I'd here from you last night about the Aimee's game results...hope she won and you were eating gobs of ice cream to celebrate,..Have been busy with church stuff, "festival" this weekend and I hope to be there most of the weekend helping at the silent auction, bowing my way out gracefully of course , just in time to watch the races. Believe me none of them even have a clue what Nascar and will never guess what I'm up to, he he he. ... May not end up at church at all, I've got a dentist appt in the am and instead if filling another small cavity on my upper rt third molar (wisdom tooth ) he may extract it and the opposing one as well, just cause they are getting to be a nuisance....If he opts to do that I want him to do all four at the same time. All my other molars have been crowned for years..I was a certified dental assistant for 15 years and got great rates, he, he, he, but no insurance co. will pay for 3rd molar crowns, so we'll see whats what. 60 years old and having my wisdom teeth out, what a hoot. Hope Robby can keep the momentum going this weekend, wonder if some of the bad finishes have eroded some confidence over time but he was sure happy last Sat nigh. Hi Flat! Just checking in after a few days offline. J had a buddy spend the night last night and it was almost 11:30 before they went to sleep! And up at 9 am rarin' to go! How did Aimee's game go? J has an all day soccer tournament this Saturday if it doesn't rain, but will be done by the NW race. I'm watching it for sure. And I'm still trying to comprehend the TS leaving JGR thing. At least he didn't go to HMS. He looked really good at the press conference today too. :) All the stuff I told J when Jr left DEI is coming back to haunt me!!!!!!!!! Tell hubby he can cry on my shoulder if I can cry on his! I'll just put duct tape over the #20 on my coffee mug. LOL Anywho, rambling. Gonna see what all I've missed while I've been away. Hey back at you....festival went OK was up there late Thursday night setting up..had my wisdom teeth extracted Fri am , so I did not go up Fri or Sat, convenient for race watching, hehehe ;-), but was there all day today, just got back. IMHO, it's a lot of work,done by the same people every year with not enough profit to justify it. If ever family gave an extra 100$s a year they would not need the festival for extra cash, I'm tired, old and crabby about it but I would do anything for Fr. Joe, so I drug my slightly bruised face up there and spent money on stuff I did not need, just to get the prices up on the silent auction, where I spend too much time getting too few donations etc, etc etc.Yeah, Rob had a few JB guests in the house so the word was watch your language, and he seemed to be much more patient and listen to Walter one out of five suggestions, lol. Hiya Flat! Yep, MAGGnificent! Tonight I was watching and yelled "Get it Maggs!" and my dog (Maggy) was looking at me like "what? get what? where is it? huh?what?" LOL Not too much going on, J is a social butterfly like Aimee by the sounds of it. We got to see the Bud clydesdales yesterday, it was great! Tomorrow I have to deal w/ the inlaws (bah humbug!) but one of them that I like will be there, we'll hang out cuz we're both "outsiders". Other than that, same ole same ole. We did take a day trip to "da U.P. eh?" It was fun. Trying to find stuff to do this summer before J gets too old and cool to hang out with us. Back from vaca - it was great - nice and relaxing! Tornado did not hit near us thank the Good Lord and all that's holy. A lot of damage and trees down however. We did have a lady in the next town over get killed when her house collapsed on her. She was holding a baby - the baby survived because they got separated by the wind!

Hey Missy, recovered from the Indy debacle yet? I'm still pissed off. Hope this weekend is good for all the guys.They must have been so disappointed for something beyond their control and plum tuckered out to boot. Are you sick of this weather yet? I am not a summer person, so the heat and the humidity really gets on my nerves, not to mention killing my sinuses.. Picked up Mark Tues night at the airport., glad to get him home , so now he can goo out and play with heavy duty farm equipment and I can start worrying all over again. They're baling right now, so btwn the heat and the machines I worry.How are the girls? School shopping? Are they anxious for scholl to start. Will Hailey be in kindergarten or first grade? that just starts a new cycle of life doesn't it. Get up, out the door, homework, school functions...It never ends, believe me , it never ends, lol. Hey sweet sheila, I left a big old message for you yesterday (who me?, lol) telling you of my busy woes and comments about your busy life and forgot to hit "add comment" and lost the whole shebang, You didn't miss a thing, lol Just wanted to check in so you wouldn't worry.Crazy schedule and I am working again Sat so it won't end soon. The Armada Fair starts next week and Anth shows (and sells) pigs Shows Tues and the auction starts at 4:00pm Fri, in case you know anyone who buys freezer pork, or beef. , plus football practice starts Mon.a.m. at 8:00, so he's going to have to get someone to feed the pigs in the morning because they mandate feeding at 8:00 and 4:00 pm. It's a busy week, just hope the weather cooperates because the barns are hell when it's hot. Really looking forward to W.G. this weekend. Just hope Robby gets a break and quality's and finishes at least in the top 5. The team really needs it and a win would do so much for their confidence, a word you don't hear Robby mention much any more. I just hope RGM is able to hold together for next year with the sponsorship situation so grave for a lot of the teams. Just opened all the windows today for the first time in about 8 weeks, I think. It sounds nice and smells nice. Country living does have it's advantages. Hi Flat! Hope things are going well for you. Did you enjoy the race? My brother called me Sat. night and said "guess what I could have done?" and told me he had tickets for the race at MIS! Buddy of his had an extra ticket and pit passses but my brother was sick and turned him down. I was all "WHAT? You could have called MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I'm your sister!!!!!!" He said he forgot! Ok,not that I'm his sister but he wasn't thinking of me at the time. Anywho.......got to go to middle school orientation today, J is all geeked up and ready to go! I'm ready for him to go too. Hey Sheila, you not getting an amazed answer from me yesterday for your early morning message is only because I "wrote " it on my break and in my haste to get back to work I obviously did not "add Comment"., lol. It was funny too, lol.and if you think I can remember what I "thought" yesterday, don't bet the farm.We had a bicycle group stay over night in Richmond Tues night, my "night" to work. They started in Washington state and crossed the U.S. in about 7 weeks, arriving in Grand Rapids last week , where 75 additional people joined the group, bring the riders to about 200 strong and half of them needed to use my three unfiltered computers to access their email Tues afternoon/evening on my watch. I do know that I now can direct any kind of traffic anywhere, lol. Nice bunch, wore me out!!!Plus wit football practice in full swing I have attended about 5 hours of "scrimmage" this week, which I absolutely know nothing about. I just keep track Mark and am glad when he gets back up.So my dear it is the usual craziness around here...but the dog is happy and no trouble at all, even wags her tail once in awhile for apparently no reason at all, lol. I have been watching as many as the Little League play-offs this week, my team, Louisiana, is in the semifinals for The U.S.A. championship tomorrow and I predict they will go up against Japan for the World championship on Sunday afternoon. We could all learn a lot from those kids about what's important in life and how to deal with defeat. Speaking of defeat, are you rady for cars in a blender at Bristol this weekend? Of all the places where Robby can get into trouble quick, maybe this is whee some luck will come his way. Just as I wrote that Robby is being mentioned on Speed with the new sponsor/print scheme and it is exactly like shown "here " yesterday.Some one knows something, me thinks and that's o.k. with me. Hi there!! Yep...up late. I got a laptop...so now I can "browse" in bed...or surf in bed....or whatever you want to call it! LOL! Anyway, yes...change it up a bit with those chicken wings...can you make them vodoo wings instead? Hey Flat! I can read your page now! LOL White on red is easier for my eyes. What's a good name for a puppy? I'm getting a rat terrier/Jack Russell this coming weekend and he needs a name. He's mostly terrier. Some names I'm considering: Beamer (for guess who? LOL), Placido ( can ya guess? LMAO) and something possibly Tony related. Can't name him Magglio cuz of our other dog and when we say "MAGGLIOOOOO" she thinks we're saying "Maggy wanna go???" and runs around the house all excited. Means she's going in the car for a ride. He's really cute, mostly white w/ black ears, eyes and nose w/ a little light brown under his eyes, has a black spot on his hiney. J insists on calling him Beamer, but I dunno if he looks like a Beamer, ya know? If you come up w/ any ideas, let me know, I need a name by next weekend.
