When did you become a Robby fan ?: I became a Robby fan about 6 years ago....I had never even seen a Nascar race but happened upon the Speed channel while they were doing an interview with Robby.They mentioned "doing the double" and I remembered him because my only racing experience at the time was about 45 years of never missing the Indy 500, including watching Robby getting into a helicopter and heading to Charlotte for the 600. At that time I had not a clue about Nascar , but when the subject of the single car owner /driver and the myriad of challenges it presented was discussed I decided to hang around and watch the race to see how he did. I've probably not missed 3 races since.I don't watch Robby to see Nascar, I watch Nascar to see Robby. My life has been changed, a passion I never knew that was within born because of belief in the dreams of a man who never gives up and lives his life full speed ahead to make his dreams come true.He puts his money where his mouth is and will reach victory lane with the #7 car. He's already a winner, because he is who he is.

My personal and gut feeling is that Robby is dealing with a lot of shit right now and it's a complete distraction from the race team. But you're right, a little notice would have been nice.

Well personally I believe that RUR got away from what it was designed for and I am guessing that was the reason for the plug being pulled. Too much nonsense and not enough hard nosed, real racing conversation for his taste. I thought it would be great, with newer folks learning from the seasoned veterans, instead the non racing took over and started their own crapcar following. I think it will return redesigned with new rules that will be enforced. Just my opinion so who knows. The clinic is coming along nicely, we have not completed construction in fact it is running behind (imagine that) but the spa is already up and starting slowly, the clinic is doing well with amazing results! I am heading over to LA during the Labor day weekend for the Alternative Cancer show in Universal City, this will be great exposure for our cancer treatments that work amazingly. Hi Christy - After the client left today, I had a little time to surf the new Planet and found you again. Please add me as a friend. I'm around your age, and used to race in my erly days, found Robby and never let go, he is AMAZING. The people on this Planet are so nice. BOP did awsome instructions on changing the POS - check it out - worth downloading. I lost a few people and things I wanted to keep from RUR also, but I was smart enough to print out some of the stuff i.e. Robby blessing BOP at Atlanta that was hysterical. Anyway, Walter was incredibly nice and I chatted with him and gave him a hug and told him I was honored to meet him. Hello my dear! Yeppers!!!!!!!!!!!! That race was a sorry excuse & Goodyear should be ashamed! REALLY! I think they said the avg. $$ amount per team for the race w/e to purchase their shittola tires was $34,000 or something like that?!!!!! OMG, just for 1 set to last 9 laps............. a true shame.............. not to mention it was NOT a race....just survival, sad. Well JJ is happy prolly' the only one tho~~~~~ & you are right at least RG stayed nuetral in the points. I'm sitting here sipping my cocktail, hubster at work ( til 1 am) kiddies in bed..... So ya liked the Rg pic???? LOL! I just knew ya would! it is a hot one! hehehehhe!! Oh Jeez, what about all this "Kwame" crap going on? huh? it IS ALWAYS something..... I just don't know, but I sure am glad I don';t live in the city.... He's not doing a good job for those tax payers! not to mention the national news... & it's never good...... Hi Chris - Yep we were "frineds" on RuR. Glad yoy checked in was reading RG's home page race review - he had tire problems too. Got a lap down because he decided to come in then the yellow flew for someone e'se's flat. His comments (if you haven't already read them) were he was just driving around and crusing because of tire wear. He wanted to finsih. Caravello on NASCAR pg. said that was not a race, and I agree with him. Like you, I also have a bookcase full of cookbooks, and my Robby Shrine is in my bedroom with photos of him all over. You were lucky to meet him, I missed him at Pocono in 2004 and was brokenhearted. Keep in touch - Joan

It's a wonder that I didn't crack all my teeth, I was clenching them throughout the sham that Nascar called a race.It was sad listening to Robby on the scanner...he was so unhappy with the tire situation. All the schmucks up front were there because they started there.You can sugarcoat that mess any way you want, but it was a sad excuse for a race. POS on t.v.saying Nascar was doing such a fine job of keeping everybody "safe". Tell that to Harvick..I don't ever remember seeing an exploding tire take out a whole side of a car before. You were better off missing the race, you didn't have to be P.O .like everyone who watched it, lol. Everything is healed well with the wisdom teeth, my dentist said I was a "tough cookie" to someone, It was a piece of cake...thanks for asking. Breaks over, back to the yoke, lol take care Chris

Just stopped in to say hi - Sunday was awful- I felt sorry for RG. Off to Pocono - on Stuff inside, RG says he broke an ankle couple years back (still at RCR then) and they wanted to fuse it, he wouldn't let them, ran the race and laughed as he said it was his best finish at the Poc. Ah, if you ever watched the old NYPD Blue with Caruso, you know the character inside and out - seems he's sort of a 'one trick pony', but he is good at his one trick.
I was reading some of the letters to the editor in NASCAR SCENE and, man, Nascar & Goodyear were really getting ripped to shreds, which was what I expected. That mess at Indy was one of the most bizarre things I have ever seen. Those exploding tires really did a job on Kenseth's and Montoya's cars as well (though I didn't shed any tears over JPM's bad luck). I sure hope Robby & Co. found something to give them a good run this weekend-we could ALL use the boost!
