Announcement due this Saturday, Boris in 26 for first 5 races.
Boris!
Right on.
So much for that rumor of him having another ride...

That will make me want to watch races a bit more, especially if its one of the weeks Robby is doing something else.
It will probably get shaken up as Front Row is working on getting all 3 of their cars locked in...but as of today they only have ONE car locked in, the #34 of Kvapil.

Obviously they are working with Yates/RPM to acquire the 96 and 44 for their 37 and 38 cars....but as of now that has not happened.

That would EFF Scott Speed and I would get a kick out of him missing the 500...lol

on a side note RHR on Speed just now.....and my favorite blonde in the background! :)
IF Speed gets displaced and can't beat these start-ups, he should go back to open wheel. I don't see that as a problem.
Beagle- Sorry bud, but you know Speed wont have any trouble making races this year, and will be locked in the top 35 after race 5.
ehh if Front Row locks in their 3 cars from the #44 and #96 pts, leaving the 82 and 71 on the outside still, I bet he misses Daytona...which is very distinct possibility if he is not locked in the way the qualifying works there....and then he could be in trouble for the first 10 or so races...

As the 71, even if not locked in by Owners Pts, really is with the PCP, so there is your top 35 +1. So right off the bat the 82 would be spotting points to 36 cars by missing Daytona....now you get into a scenario..like say...okay now its raining for quals the next week in Cali (and we've seen a recent season where qulas were rained out like 14 itimes)..guess what..the 82 goes home again....and the hole could keep getting bigger.

If Speed is locked in for Daytona and the first 5...then yes he will be after the first 5.

If he has to make the first 5, I think that proposition is 50/50 at best...
I also cannot say how much I wanted Gibbs to go to 4 cars in 2008 after Penske pulled that move to give crappy Sam Hornish, Kurt Busch's owner pts then rely on Kurt's PCP for the #2 for the first 5...

If Gibbs had done the same thing with Stewart, his PCP would have trumped Kurts...and after Kurt wrecked in Duel 1, Stewart could have laid back in Duel #2 and Kurt Busch would have missed the 500....that woulda been funny!
I think I will print this list off -- I'm gonna need a score card to tell the players.
Add another new team to the list. The 35 of Johnny Sauter, a second Tommy Baldwin Chevy.
Nah...thats for Cali..not Daytona...and probably a S&P
