Even if Robby unfortunately doesn't make it , this is still a great happening for the offroad community in general . Its really good seeing the city committee get behind the event .

I wouldn't be surprised if that was true. Maybe a date will get changed? Probably not.

It takes 6 months to get a BLM Event Permit. And that is if they sign off on everything the first time. So if they filed today they earliest you might see a permit would be March.

This race date will have to be scheduled between the San Felipe 250 & the Baja 500. On top of that you want to try to schedule around BITD. So even though there are 52 weeks in a year. There are only so many weekends that fit in Score's and all the other race series schedule. Sometimes you can help overlapping. This is not the first time two series have had races on the same weekend.

And you only have so many months in the Imperial Valley that are suitable to run a race. The Average Temp in April is 85 degrees, May's average is 95 degree's. It only goes up from there.
