Robby Gordon Watkins Glen Practice Report- Nationwide

ROBBY GORDON MOTORSPORTS WATKINS GLEN
NATIONWIDE PRACTICE REPORT

WATKINS GLEN, NY (August 7, 2009) –

As Robby Gordon attempts to make his first NASCAR Nationwide Series start of the
2009 season this weekend in the No. 55 Hard Rock Hotel & Casino
Las Vegas / The Rogue Joint Camry, he was a top the leader board
in today’s two practice sessions. He was third and fourth posting
speeds of 119.984 and 120.278 respectively.

Qualifying is set for Saturday, August 8th at 10 a.m. (ET) on
ESPN2, MRN, and Sirius Satellite radio. The 82 laps of racing action
begins on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ABC,
MRN and Sirius Satellite radio.

“I am really proud of the effort of the No. 55 this weekend.
Obviously, this is our first Nationwide start in over a year, and I
believe that we have a car that is capable of sitting on the front
row tomorrow and racing well. I am excited to have Hard Rock
Hotel & Casino Las Vegas onboard this weekend and look forward
to tomorrow’s race,” commented Gordon. “If you look at
everyone’s average lap times, we have the best car in the field
based on race trim. I know that we finished fourth in final practice,
but that was because other cars ran through the bus stop.
Tomorrow is going to be a good day for the No. 55 Hard Rock
Hotel & Casino Las Vegas Camry. ”

No, I helped out with the base and the render, but Kevin Wilson gets credit for this one.
I assume the Cup car was your work though? It looks almost exactly like that mock-up you made around Sonoma-time. Which is to say it looks bad-ass.
Checkers or Wreckers!
the Rogue Joint, car looks sick boys
