The slash itself it has a beginners mode on the speed control . It makes it go only 1/2 throttle .

Bud i covered that a long time ago .
Just a small tip for all you new RC drivers the speed control on the Slash has a beginners mode where you can turn the throttle down so it doesn't go as fast . It basically makes it run at only 1/2 throttle then when you get used to driving it you can make it go back to full throttle . Don't really remember how it works since its been awhile since I've had a Slash and been even longer since I was a beginner lol but I'm sure it's in the instructions booklet . Have fun with your new trucks !!!

I know it has something to do with pushing the power button on the speed control . Think you press it til it blinks 3 times or something like that
