New Nascar game

Dont know how many of you guys are into Video Games but Activision and Eutechnyx announced that they are creating a new game that is due out in February. This is the frist game in 2 years with the last one being Nascar 09. The game looks pretty good to me.

As the story (from the developers end) goes RGM was offered to be in the game at the same time as all the other teams (talking like early/mid 2010 season here) but for whatever reason RGM didn't get back to them by the original deadline so RGM wasn't in the game and Danica got the number because they turned their "permission slip" in on time. Sometime in Late October/early November it was announced that RGM would infact be in the game and they were the last team added to the game. However since they didn't turn in their "permission slip" on time they get stuck with the #7a since the #7 was already taken after RGM "defaulted" on it.

man,

the chevy car would be cool, and i would think making the car as close to 2011 would be benifical,

There will be few changes we all have known about in 2011, one would think the game would want to be as close to the real deal as possible.

but then again, in 2 years it wont matter anyway.

i hope Chad (#48 crew chief and not looking up how to spell last name now) isnt the voice over.
his voice gets old and i get sick of him saying "your going the wrong way" "Nascar will fine you for that one" everytime i play

it's a game. Things can be updated with patches,if need be.

The game ships with 2010 cars/liveries and schedule/rules. Kentucky ships in the game but will not be included in the default schedule.

Sometime between March & May it will be updated (for free) with the 2011 cars/liveries, schedule/rules (if there are any major rule changes in real life), and any texture/sponsor updates for tracks. The Repaved Daytona is NOT scheduled to be part of that though (as far as I know) because it's not just as simply as putting a new black asphalt texture on the existing track as they have to rebuild the track to get rid of the bumps. No idea if the Pocono improvements are gonna be in the game from launch, DLC, or just the next version.
