STAGE 1 TRACKING

STAGE 1: BUENOS AIRES > VILLA CARLOS PAZ

Connection 663km | Special Stage 170km | Total 833km

COURSE OVERVIEW

The competitors will be rapidly plunged into the heart of the Argentinean countryside. The combination of the route’s different features means that there will be something for everyone, while sticking to relatively simple criteria, for the time being. Fast tracks coupled with sharp bends will divide up the vehicles, according to the levels of the drivers, who will be tested in an exciting environment which marks this first special stage, but without singling out any particular category. At the end of this warm-up, the day will fi nish with a long liaison section to the first bivouac.

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

Peterhansel Quote

"I didn't really go on the attack"

"It was a bit stressful to tackle the first special when you don't know how strong you are. You have to early mistakes on fast courses that require good braking timing. We eased into the race without taking too many risks, gently, keeping a watchful eye on all the dials... We're trying to learn about the car. We had no clue how far we could go. I wasn't really at ease when taking risks and driving, I can still do better. I didn't really go on the attack. We didn't drive as much as we would've liked, let alone on courses as fast as this one."

Sissy!

So,they didn't test enough?

scuses.

See what happens tomorrow.

Peepee is kinda making it sound as tho its his first time driving it?! And of all people to be leading in a mini.... thats like dangling a carrot in front of Robby...just hope he doesn't try to bite to hard and to fast.

It's probably not silly to be conservative to begin with. I suspect we'll see how he can really handle 2WD soon enough.

Amazing ...

Stage at a time. Great day for RGM/RGOR

Who knows what position off the line we started? Curious to see where we started compared to where we finished.

we only passed Roma, started 9th
