Did I tell you GENE NEAD was the man or what?

Great team effort by RGM, surely it wasn't one person. But for all those who thought I was crazy, please send all cards to Garrett John Gleason Old Forge PA.

Lol. Anyway, wasn't able to join y'all in the chat today, but I actually TEARED up when I heard Gene Nead was calling the shots today, so could someone explain to me how enemies became friends and RG and he got back together?

Btw, as we all know, I am Gene's biggest fan and would like someone at RGM to get me an autograph of the big guy and send it to me for all the schemes I did.

Gene = top 20. I love that man. I miss hearing "Nice and smooth bud." What a great day today is!

He was there from Summer Bristol 2009 to the end of the season if I recall.

Yeah Gene is awesome! To the Bone he is the coolest CC ever!

Just don't forget that the car at PHX was the Martinsville car it is the latest to come out of RGM and has had everything they could throw at it. THE CAR is the baddest built to date out of that shop.

I think what most people forget about Gene was his ability to adjust the car over the course of the race and be a good race strategist. Even on off days we still ran in the top 25 where as lately on our best days we'd be able to run 25th. The ability to fine tune the car and "Mr. Gordon" as he put it in the Dover Scanner Replay was what made the relationship so successful in the first place.

I believe RGM fell a bit behind after Gene left on their COT, which is why Robby brought guys like Johnny Kaiser and Kirk in from the off road side of things in order to build more sound COT's. Doug Richert was certainly a better on the box guy than Kirk, and now I think guys like Gene and Larry are going to be able to not only build better racecars, but set them up better which should lead RGM forward. I would still like to know how this reunion came about, but its certainly great to see.

Hank and I actually considered that at one point. I think we should all send Gene thank you cards. I would have sent him flowers, but I'm sure that wouldn't fly too well in the south, a man sending another man flowers.

RG made the last call to pit and get 4 tires, the crew chief called to stay out no matter what,. RG didn't liked that,.

I think the 3 chances at a GWC finish influenced RG taking tires there. If its one shot and youre RG, you stay out and stab the brakes and take off and hope for the best for two laps or hope like hell a yellow comes out after you stack them up.

This is the second time I've had to explain this TOG.

XBOX 360 would be

RT (Right Trigger) for Gas
and LT (left Trigger) for brake (there are LEFT BUTTON and Right Button for shifting)

PS3 would be L2 and R2 for gas and brake and r1 l1 for shifting

Just being difficult.
