"It was a good lap for our Jim Beam Dodge. I just had to check up in Turn 2 and that probably cost me a tenth (of a second). I just had to roll out of the throttle a bit and lost some time. I happy with what my guys are doing with the car and it showed today. It's just not our road race program, it's the ovals too."

Add on that he has had some really solid runs at MIS since starting his own team. No reason not to expect a solid top 15.

He made long runs in Happy hour, and that is fantastic. I am not worried about the average speed at all.He was trying different lines on the track and knows where he needs to run to be fast.
