Danica for the win!!!

The landscape of NASCAR car numbers have changed so much over the years. Look at the car numbers NOT at this race:

3 - 97 wins, last win 2000 (obvious reasons)
4 - 45 wins, 2011
6 - 83 wins, 2011
7 - 23 wins, 1996 (way overdue, Sonoma can't come soon enough)
8 - 38 wins. 2006
12 - 59 wins, 2008
21 - 91 wins, 2011
25 - 21 wins, 2007
28 - 76 wins, 2002

These are prime race car numbers with incredible histories. It is a shame that cars with these numbers are not in the race, especially the 7.

(I think I hit a new low with a useless statistic)

Speaking of numbers, Roush is holding a news conference Monday to announce a new number and sponsor for Matt Kenseth. Frontstretch is SPECULATING it will be #57 (Heinz) or #7 (7-11).

Just speculation, but it has to go sometime....

Its probably just for the All Star race

The last time the #7 car won was on a road course....we'll see. Still remember Geoff waiving to the crowd on the last lap while coming to the checkers at The Glen.

From Twitter:

What is this tweet in regards to?

I'd guess whether Dodge stays in NASCAR or not. Mulhern is misguided as Penske doesn't need to prove their case, they're leaving Dodge...

He means a succesful season (with Penske, by default) might influnece Fiat honchos to stick with NASCAR in general.

yeah that's what I gathered from it.

Last week at Taladaga, in the "literary club " pool I draw a 7 , was I ever pissed...

At this point, how does Robbys 2013 NASCAR season look? Less? More? The same? Or dont know?
