Excellent EX, it's good to have experts in the house.

I was at last years race chasing for Palapa Boy Racing Class 7-2. Right about now I was driving south on Hwy 1 to set up our first Pit at RM 350 or so. Truck blew motor at RM 456. I'm rooting for RG & Reid Rutherford in #720 who partnered with us last year. Palapa Boy is not racing this year. I can't tell you how much I miss not being down there this year!

I'm not going to be able to be in front of a computer monitor during much of the race, so I was looking for a mobile solution. The RDC site is great, but way too much on one page for a mobile device (and my old eyes on a 4 inch screen).

This wasn't listed on PR's tracking options page, but Dirt Newz has an iPhone app which claims to have live updates. Search for "DirtNewz" in the Apple App Store. It's iPhone specifically, so looks a bit clunky on my iPad, but it'll work.

Now I just need to find a non-flash based Weatherman feed for the iPad, or a freestanding flash based feed I can run on my Android phone. The feed I found is Flash based on that really busy RDC site. Anyone know of other options?

Good luck today Team RGM. GAS ON!

Finally, something worth waiting a whole year for go.C'mon Robby, let see some magic.

Happy baja 1000 day everyone. I'm not going to get anything done at work today. :-)

Me neither. One of my favorite races of the year.

Anyone got a link to follwo other that race desert or twitter.

yeah, in the body of this page.....baja 1000 link....

Thanks,
I guess I have the air head shit flowing today.
Hectic day at work.

so the race gets stopped for a jackknifed rig? only in Mexico

The live feed on Race-Dezert is awesome. Bringing the first 10 TT's that got blocked by the jack-hole truck driver to the starting line to start all over once the big rig is cleared.
