STAGE 7 TRACKING

STAGE 7: UYUNI > SALTA

Connection 440km | Special Stage 353km | Total 793km

COURSE OVERVIEW

The end of the first week of racing is always a decisive intermediate objective. This year, anyone who has put in the ground work during their preparation and who has respected the major recommendations of the discipline will be able to reach it. However, they still need to get to the end of this exhausting day, which will involve getting their feet wet crossing rivers. It is likely that half of the vehicles will arrive in Salta after nightfall… but perhaps before their assistance teams, who also have a long road ahead of them.

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

Wow, now just waiting for the Mini camp to call that illegal tire pressure control.

OK two bad joke, sorry.......

He's driving the wheels off that Gordini.
So does this mean he got a stage win for the trike class?

Here is a better quality and uncut video of Robby interview after Stage 7. Shows more of the adoration of his fans and him making things right with a mini that I believe he bumped accidentally during the stage. https://youtu.be/B8CZNIVFKyI

thanks for posting this. great video!!

Thank you uncut is always better
Great video. Thank you.

A close call with spectators. Cops save the day by warning spectators with their whistles and screaming. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Bzj3ScoWX0

the title of that video is attempting to get attention. The original tweet it came from did not relay any of that sentiment. He also wasn't the first one through there. Fans can be idiots.

Today a spectator died when he was struck by race car driven by a French driver.

Yep I know. people are too close to the course. the poster is attempting to capitalize on that tragedy. This video is no tragedy. this is a better link with better context. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dgJac7Mn8O0
