STAGE 11 TRACKING
STAGE 11: LA RIOJA > SAN JUAN
Connection 281km | Special Stage 431km | Total 712km
The level of difficulty remains the same, but variety will favour the most flexible of drivers and teams. Sand in all its forms will feature, particularly fesh-fesh, the most volatile and heavy kind, which demands both dexterity and patience. But speed will also be an advantage in other, straighter sections, featuring gravel and pebbles. Opportunities will be few and far between, but there is still time to shake up the standings, since the terrain will be favourable to creating significant gaps.
The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.
It appears as thought the Special portion of the stage starts at waypoint 7, it's almost go time!
Does anyone know how the Gordini stacks up against the pugs as far as wheelbase and track width?
Along with that question...does the Dinni run forged wheels or cast?
generally forged vs cast is related to cost to produce.
forged wheels are lighter because the process makes a stronger wheel and they can design it to be light. Cast is typically heavier to compensate for the weaker structure
Haven't read the entire thread, but anyone have ideas why RG can't at least stay with Nasser today? I understand a few min behind but they started right next to each other.
Taking it easy so the crew has easy nights the rest of the race.
Simply an idea which is what you asked for.
interesting, I just can't see RG thinking of it that way.
Gotta think RG isn't going to push it too hard the first half of the stage
Tog Tog Tog.
Thinking went out the window days ago.
Stage 11 UPDATE at KM190 of 431
Good question FD. I too wonder if he is running ultra lightweight wheels or the heavier stronger units.
