BiTD Henderson "250" 'chat'

Join us for Best in the Desert Henderson 250 race Saturday the 1st .Chat will open Saturday morning,est. Green flag drops for 1400/1500 competitors appr. 3:00 pm/est.
Robby is entered in this event and looking to clinch the Best inThe Desert class 1500 Championship as well as a very prestigious award, the Camburg Best In The Desert Award. We'll have qualifying results on this thread Friday morning .
Qualifying sets the starting order.This is a 'loop race'. 3- 80mile laps make up this event.

From a fan perspective with young kids, when is the best time to go? Friday just to walk around and see the cars/trucks or Saturday for the start of the Race?

Here ya go this is from the BITD website . Hope you have fun . Tech & Contingency will be held in historic Downtown Henderson on Water Street on Friday, November 30! Everyone is invited to come to Henderson and see all of the incredible race vehicles and meet the greatest off-road desert racers in the world; the racers will be by their vehicles and will sign autographs! There are some very tight Class Championships on the line, the last race of the year will decide who will be a Class Champion, as well as Rookie of the Year and the very prestigious award, the Camburg Best In The Desert Award, going to the fastest driver per mile for every race, an award that is coveted by all who have won it! I cant go either! Im working a car show and Christmas show for the City of Las Vegas that day. At least the weather will be near 70ish.

whats the best place to watch the race from... never been thinking of going and taking my kids....but need a place that I can exit at any time....

@Cluworks, Saturday would be good also if you want racing.This is a loop race,motorbikes and lower class's race before the 1400/1500's
If I where doing to watch racing,I'd go Saturday

I'd watch from the starting line area, that's just me

Anybody know where time trials are gonna be? Thinking boulder city dry lake bed area they've used for last few races around here but just wanting to make sure.
