Sam Hornish to run at Darlington? Finished 31st in 2010 and 30th in 2009.

I hear that Jaime Alguersuari likes NASCAR......That would be brilliant! Not sure how much he knows about race tracks like Darlington though!!
Back in the real world now, Sam Hornish would be good, I'd like to see him drive Robby's car.

I know several keep saying Sam Hornish, but wouldn't it make more sense for Penkse to field a car for Sam rather than paying RG for Sam to drive? It helps that the #7 is already locked in, but the it doesn't seem like the competition is that stiff to make the race.If there's any track I could see RG putting Sam in the car, it would be Pocono, Sam finished 11th in both races last year and lead a bunch of laps.

It would cost Penske money to field a third car that may or may not make the show. Sam will already be at Darlington for the Nationwide race. If "The Car" is there and Robby is not, chances are that it will be a S&P deal unless Sam and/or Rodger can bring a sponsor.

I know this is months away, but qualifying has been rained out a few times at Watkins Glen. If the 7 car falls out of the top 35 they will have to attempt qualifying every week or risk missing the race if there is a rainout. Of course this will be a moot point when Robby wins at Sonoma.
