Moto GP signs 10 year deal with Circuit of the Americas starting in 2013

Which means Indy or Laguna will lose their race after 2012 as Moto GP only wants two USA dates. Hard to predict which one it will be. Indy has all three major classes (Moto GP, Moto 2, and125 which will become Moto 3) while Laguna only has Moto GP. So they could schedule the Texas race before or after Indy and cut down on travel while not separating the classes or giving the lower classes a long layoff. Hard to imagine them dropping Laguna again though, lots of history there. Personally I hope they keep the Indy race because I live in Indiana and have been/will continue to go to all the Moto GP events held there.

Not so quick, there is a strong possibility of three GP weekends in the US.Since the US currently doesn't have civic unrest like some regions of the globe, security does offer a huge benefit.Much the same that DAKAR enjoy's in South America.
Time will tell. While Laguna is legendary,I probably will never go back! SCRAMP and local police have made it far to difficult to simple enter and exit timely.
