I will try to live coverage Saturday

Right on Mike

I've been lacking on my Planet time lately, but if you guys haven't already talked about it, check out the RedBullTV coverage of the Dakar. Some good stuff and then there is the host where they simply talk about themselves the whole time. Better than NBCSports IMHO however.

Microsoft Edge did not want to play this
Explorer , no problem

They were having some bandwidth or streaming issues on their end about 30 min ago.

Also if you subscribe to MotorTrend OnDemand you can watch the recaps as well. Similar as NBC Sports but different voice over.

Also, does anyone think this might the El Matador's last Dakar? Love the guy, but he is going to kill himself in a crazy crash if he keeps going.

He'll be back.
Possibly. His son is now racing in F1 and I think dad wants to drop some gears and offer some advice.
On the other hand "Mr Dakar" Peterhansel is on fire and when pressed by Loeb has come out fighting,
I'm a huge fan of CSJ. Can't wait to see him get into a top car.

and it's done, 2017 DAKAR has finish , but it's not in the books for the motorbikes. Honda is protesting their time penalty. If not for the penalty Barreda would be the Winner
