TUPIZA- ORURO

January 6th 2017

The Dakar will take up residence on the Bolivian Altiplano. While the organisms will become acclimated, fatigue will set in. In this context, the large variety of terrain makes this stage one of the most demanding. In the purest Dakar spirit the density of the day will be characterized by the two dune sectors that will complicate the final kilometres of the special stage.crossing the Rios. This stage also features a Naturalization zone.

SuperCross

I'm getting sleep this year lol

Dakar is like a national holiday in Bolivia.

The stage has been shortened due to weather after the neutralization section. Therefore WP5 is now the finish for the special.

Sutherland wins!!!

I love the hats on the Bolivian news readers

Coolest entry this year is the #345, a 1966 Rastrojero powered by a "Camaro V8 engine" driven by Jose Blangino and co-dog Luciano Gagliardi from Argentina. They finished 22nd today. Read more here.

looks cool....the story is in Spanish

I believe I seen a video of that yellow one towing someone

Whooha.... they could run that in the UTV class at the mint!

Big air!

Heavy rain may cancel Stage 6.
