2016 Mexican 1000

Robby Gordon has decided to race in the 2016 Mexican 1000. He will race his buggy in the Pro Unlimited Class. Gordon starts 12th.

Stage 1 begins today.

today's unofficial stage/day results would make 2 straight days of wins for RG. Barring any time penalties.
It appears that Jim Bult is the overall winner

That was a fun race. You could tell all the competitors were having a blast driving the old trucks and buggies. I sure enjoyed following the antics.

yep, 'is' having fun.
if not for a broken cv on day 1, RG's pre runner with all seats filled at times was able to win stages against rigs with more everything was in the hunt. RG said that finish he'd like to bring a Trophy Truck to the event .
