Thought you Planeteers might like to see what's been going on on RDC . A few of you already know as I've seen you there bleeding the orange and black like me but for those who haven't seen it yet here's a link

Robby himself even came on and set the record straight . Here's his post .

Wow

You guys are correct, 2014 has been a disaster for our race team it's amazing how when you don't win people forget so fast. I guess we just have to worker harder and smarter huh. I was thinking a 1/2 day 7 days a week was enough? just so you know we count a half day as 12 hrs.

Dakar
Vapor Lock blown engine due to running lean. = DNF
Maybe a team problem and due to testing in the Fall won't happen again I will take responsibility personally for this as last year was tough building 23 SST Trucks but we still won Parker and Baja 500 as well as building a series.

Parker 425 broke Trans DNF

Mint 400 DNF Converter

Baja 500
Qualified 1st by 5 seconds over 2nd 9 sec over Voss and 20 seconds to 5th
Drive Shaft Leading at Mikes

Vegas to Reno
Input Shaft

With all these DNF's one time has it been my guys prep jobs? And maybe all of them are mine trying to go too fast (just kidding) I feel our cars are as nice as anything in the Desert or short course, it was a year ago that we schooled everyone at Parker for 3 years straight 2 wins in RGM Truck oh wait 1 win and 1 DQ for heli and 1 win in a Gieser Trugly

BAJA 500 first Overall pole position last 2 BAJA 500 races

BAJA 1000 finally had a RGM mechanical with a broken Spindle, besides this the DNF's are outside parts of RGM and we will continue to push the Developement of OFF ROAD and set the stage for Speed

So for 2013 we have 66% win rate in the Desert 2 wins 3 races

So 2012 win rate 50% win rate 4 wins 8

I will take these odds anytime at Vegas

I have a great race team and Sponsors like Speed, Toyo, 4 Wheel Parts, Safty Clean, Techni, Torchmate, Hass CNC, Mac Tools, Menards, Freightliner many more and couldn't do it without the guys and girls on this team that helps us grow the sport we all love, everyone is right all that matters is winning and we are the only team that has wins in Score and BITD and Dakar Special wins in our own cars.......... Not Voss, BJ, Menzies, Jones or anyone else can say this.

See you guys at the Baja 1000 and we will be there guns blazing

Bummer some of you think I'm Arrogant but in reality it's just confidence and the fans I, we have we love and they are just as passionate as me.

5 time SCORE International Baja 1000 Trophy Truck overall winner. "Lightning"

Rob I haven't been here for a while, would that be Mr. Larry Ragland and a fellow Phoenician.????

Hello everyone! This may not be the place to ask this but here goes! I'm going to visit my daughter in Charlotte over Labor day weekend. When she works or is in school I would like to see Robby shop! Do I just walk up to the door and walk in? Is there a number to call first? Last time I went I remember a sign that wasn't very friendly...any thoughts?

I drive a semi and have stopped by twice. The employees were very nice and back in Dec I met Robby as well.

I would visit another shop after you hit RGM.......and when you get beat off with clubs and sti... ........alright I was having a moment.....Hope All Goes Well on Your Visit..........there's only one rule in life "People can't give you what they don't have".....all right maybe there's plenty of rules but chit ................

Thanks Mike & DJ! I want to stop at a couple of shops but RG is first and foremost.

If you are pleasing everyone you are doing something wrong...There will always be those who think they "know it all" and don't have the slightest clue as to how hard you and the guys work. If it was easy, everyone could do it and at that point there would be no thrill. Like Kid Rock says..."It ain't cocky if you can back it up." Proud of all of you guys!

We picked our Speed up laste year and we had so much fun.All the workers are real nice. We went all over the shop. That TT is ART work. They had just got done working on it.If you didn't know what it was you would never know it was something you raced. lol.Cynd wanted to see Max but Robbby was gone so no Max Maybe next time. All the big shops are cool but u don't see shit.

im wondering if albins is correcting the trans issues Robby is having, well besides driveline issue at the 500. maybe hit a rock and tweaked something out of line ?? anyways bad fast in anything he is behind.

I don't know if this little tidbit ... amounts to a hill of beans but

... also from RDC: What happened to the Gordini VtoR 2014?

"From Monday to Thursday, Robby spent the better part of the week in our hangar rebuilding the car and replacing the first transmission that he blew on the dyno over the previous weekend."
Robby just posted this on RDC

seems like a few are kinda butt hurt
reminds me of when some clown from Florida (fool drove a car called the Swamp Rat 3) showed up at Bonneville in 91 and asked what everybody was waiting for at 4:30 PM?
THE ANSWER WAS THE AL TEAGE SHOW 432 MPH WITH A 352CID ENGINE

and the swamp rodent could only run 208 mph with two 305 cid engines yet he had to talk down about AL TEAGE
