Testing driveshafts?

yup. That's correct!

That's what I was figuring .

TOG.........can you share what the driveshaft issue was and the fix....?

I saw it heading out yesterday on the 91 through Corona. Was wondering where it was headed.

We had some Aluminum stock come through a machine shop I stop by every so often. It was honeycomb tubular type lookin stuff and we "dicked around" the idea of it being drive shaft capable.......would have needed and outer shell though. shit was tough and light. Yes "Dicked Around"

MM....so what failed the tub or the u-joints......or is this a secret...

extruded aluminum maybe?

Wooow its hot to be doing ANY testing....Its Lake season for us. I think a few passes on the parker course goat trail will prove out a propeller shaft ? The best way to build a tough drive shaft is...MAKE 2 and carry the second as a spare...works every time..

Doug

I have no idea what failed on Robbys truck. But I think we all seen "twisted" drive shafts in our day.

There is no part in the world that is Robby proof. We always have to hope and pray it all hold together when he is gas on mode. Drive shaft and hubs seem to me more chronic than usual.
