2014 Mint 400 Race Discussion

Join in and discuss all the action from the 2014 Mint 400. Robby Gordon will drive the #77 Toyo Tires/SPEED Energy/Traxxas Racing TT #77. Qualifying is on Thursday, March 13th and raceday is on Saturday, March 15th. Live chat will be available on Saturday during the Mint 400.

Those attending the race in person, the SPEED Energy Souvenir hauler WILL be located in downtown Las Vegas. ( 6th street aka Raptor Lane ) - across from the Traxxas display.

Ya well when you charge 10.00 per car load to watch a desert race on BLM land I guess anything goes. BITD rules are on the fly. Very Weak in my opinion.

just imagine how much it would have cost me to fly in,rent a car,pay to fix Tool's house after the shin-dig.Shit,$10 dollars would have been penny on the dollars.

I test drive off-road in that area. BLM has gotten very strict this last year. We have to have a spotter to watch out for Turtles now.

BLM is THE reason our club doesn't put on races on their land in Central Oregon anymore. US Forest Service is easier to work with.

I agree, they had park rangers & BLM today. Two years ago I went to a BITD race at Caliente and there was one BLM person for the whole race. Vegas & Clark County are the problem.
