Why can't we get a clear explanation as to what is going on with the fuel! What is different than years past? Is this not the same engine used the Hummer? Have no other competitors experienced this issue? And why won't Obama come clean on Benghazi?

Again with the ethanol, ethanol does not cause vapor lock. Gasoline with high RVP causes vapor lock. There was no ethanol in gasoline in the states prior to the mid seventies when vapor lock was more frequent,

That doesn't explain stage 11, and RG says ethanol causes vapor lock and you state it doesn't ? WHAT IN THE WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS IS GOING ON?

Lots of stuff gets said and becomes "truth"but how many times did he vapor lock his CART cars?

I don't know what ethanol percentage is in the gas he purchased if any. But if it was high and old then it can "phase separate " since they have opposite polarity. This means ethanol floats on top and is fed first as straight alcohol.

Ethanol is Hygroscopic meaning it attracts water but that does not mean gasoline is repellant. I know of several aircraft pumped full of water because nobody sumped the farms or sumped the trucks. One had to switch to above ground because of a bad underground tank. They had pumped a Lear with 400 gallons of water...and some Prist. The odds of you getting bad gas because it hasn't been refined to a standard, the wrong standard or been improperly stored are a lot higher

Damn I really had not considered this happening . I hope he comes back next year with a DAKAR winner. RG is a racers racer. I know there is a lot of sad people this morning , me included . NEVER SURRENDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm, I will still wait for a miracle. If RG can make repairs and the ASO will allow it he will continue for the fans sake. He loves the fans and they love him for his bravado.
