COURSE OVERVIEW

In addition to the distance, here the competitors will be put to the test by all the difficulties offered by the Atacama Desert… and will have to display all the qualities required for off-road races. After the mine tracks and the many rivers to cross, the competitors will have to distinguish themselves in the heart of the Dunes of Copiapo: the fastest motorcyclists are expected to spend seven hours behind the wheel. Needless to say that on this decisive day there will be no shortage of opportunities for competitors to make a winning comeback in the race. This will be the key stage of the 2014 edition.

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

After seeing what this RGM team has been through the last few months, I think Parker would be a tall order. Unless the TT has been worked on since the 1000. It looked pretty hammered after that race. I wouldn't count them out though!

Nasser made it to CP1 in 1h41m15s. Robby was expected to start 40 minutes after Nasser which means that if tracking is off today, we could expect to see him at CP1 just after the top of the hour.

I see Peterhansel just pulled ahead of Roma and now is only 42sec behind overall.

Well this is weird....Robby according to the tracker hasn't moved....is he broke?

It does show he started, so maybe (fingers crossed) it is a tracking issue. Hopefully he will show up on the first Checkpoint.
