Atlanta SST in July

I know it's early to be discussing this race, and a couple discussions have been started and deleted already.. I would like to start talking about in order to start making plans about it. I myself have no plans on "pausing or deleting this post".

Info I'm looking for..

1, anyone with knowledge of the stadium area please speak up on anything that might be good to know

2, Hotels? While I would prefer to bring my camper I didn't see any campground listed close to this area. I hate driving after large events so I'm looking for hotels that are within oh...say.. 2miles from the stadium. (wife has a $300 gift card to Mariot Hotels given to her from work). So any info in close hotels would be great.

3, And of course anyone else that's planning on going and wants to do a Planet Robby meet and great would be cool.

For you guys coming from out of town, you will want to head to the dome early. lots
of stuff going on downtown that weekend

Found us another Hyatt Place to stay at this 1 is only 5 mins from the arena . Its on Peachtree st right downtown . $ 153.00 a night .

Hey guys,

So nothing has come out of trying to get us a section reserved. Everyone at RGM has been busting their asses on the series and I don't want to bother them again so... here's the options.

Seating doesn't seem to be an issue yet so we could take a general consensus on who hasn't bought seats yet, where they'd like to sit and what the pricing options are and just pick a section? Then whenever those who haven't bought their seats yet are ready, they can pick from that section.

If sitting together isn't really an option or desire at this point, maybe setting up a meetup at the arena so everyone can meet and such? A meet at a restaurant is also an idea but perhaps not an option given it's a holiday weekend in Atlanta!

I say pick a section, for all who have not bought tickets yet. I think it would be fun for us to all sit together.

Plus with the way everyone has been saying there hasn't been alot of people maybe it won't matter . What our tickets say we can just pick a seat and be together .

well it seems that the 25 dollar tickets are not numbered and from experience no one really sat where they where suppose to anyways pretty much sit where ever..
