Funny how nascar came up with the top 35 rule when Robby stared and than drop it when Robby stop raceing, WTF

Too bad my DVR can't be set up to catch the first 10 and last 10 laps.
Nascar and F1 are pretty much the same in that respect.

That's okay. At least IndyCar is coming back to Pocono this summer. With lap times of 42 seconds around the tri-oval, I am glad to have a race to look forward to attending this year. NASCAR and the majority of its fans didn't like Robby anyway. Glad to see that he is making strides with his own series. Not sure if it could ever happen,but if Robby could get together with one of the Igdalskys and set up a SST race in the infield that would be great!.

Agreed, I think Robby rubbed Nascar & alot of its fans the wrong way, he was different which is a good thing, not your vanilla robot most of the drivers in the series have become.

I think Robby pissed off Nascar when be called into to Clair B Lang and bashed nascar....on their channel....about the biased rules and punishments when tony threw helmet at kenseth.

Also they seemed pissed and put him on a permanent probation for knocking the shit out of kevin Conway. ...when Richard Childress gets_________________ penalty for doing the same to little Busch.

there was the calling waltrip POS on air

There was the BS with the dodge nose back in 08 or 09

There was the deal with releasing speed in Texas or dega.......SMI was pissed

When PJ Jones did that on spot interview and said how his dad flipped off nascar...live. .that was great

Need I go on. IMO..RG needed to get out of nascar. It was a good time.

And I give him props for doing his best to keep his employees at work instead of just laying off

My 2 cents is a single car team, owner driver operation has sailed. Think who's in this sport. Hendrick, a billionaire, Penske, Billionaire, Joe Gibbs, (28.5 million dollar contract his last years for the Red Skins). God knows how much cash you'd need to have a top 35 team! It's on it's way to F1, where only a select few will own a select few teams. I think Robby got out at the perfect time with the introduction of EFI, the Gen 6 the following year, and the climate of the racing industry as it followed the economy down. NASCAR doesn't want the bad boys anymore. They want the JJs of the world, the white bread, shut up and drive. I watch and love it, but I watch any race that's on TV! I was pissed that Sundays SST event was cut down by the NHL, but it is what it is! My wife and I will still pick a race this year (we're thinking Dover) and add an SST event too. They're a blast to attend, way better than watching from the couch! The sad thing for myself is I finally found a driver I could relate to (Hard working, take control, no bull shit type of guy), and he's not in it, but I get it!! Do I think I could sit and have a beer with Robby, NOPE, the guy doesn't stay in one place for 60 seconds let alone an hour. His whole life is a race, and in my opinion, he's winning!

I think the same way bout these multicar operations that dominate or for better words control the sport, in the long run this will hurt the sport if it already hasn't, realistically if your not part of one of these teams 20th or worse is where you'll be any given wkend.

Maybe Robby needs to call the # 22 and # 2 . Is that there right #s LMAO !! You boys come on over here to SST and have some fun..- $1000.00 and 25 points I think..nascar just SUCKS today..Ok, its sucked for years now .
