STAGE 9 TRACKING

STAGE 9: SAN MIGUEL DE TUCAMAN > CORDOBA

Connection 259km | Special Stage 593km | Total 852km

COURSE OVERVIEW

Trucks will have pride of place when the rally resumes, only competing in one of the two parts of the special stage, but they will have the rare privilege of setting off first. The stage’s profile with quick tracks will be favourable to specialists of torturous routes. In the other categories, as the distance has been doubled it will also allow for an additional, much more technical section, where, in particular, the drivers will negotiate the bends in the forest. They will have to watch out for trees, given that the rapid assistance trucks won’t have access to the route. The competitors will have to be extremely vigilant over the entire distance, which is, for all except for the bikers, the rally’s longest special stage.

Cars: Nasser Al-Attiyah still at a standstill

A nightmare special for the Qatar Red Bull driver. The Qatari has stopped several times since the start and he's still in the sector after km 495. His GPS has been sending a stop signal for more than an hour. Even if he makes it to the finish, he'll end up in the catacombs of the general classification.

TICK TOCK TICK TOCK...

I can hardly wait for the Euro Sport Stage coverage...

Good 4th place for RG... AA seems to be missing

sure geo, he went for some llamas.

Mr Karma

RG will end up about 20th OA at end of stage. 5hr 55min back of Peterhansel. About 50 minutes behind the next closest competitor in overall. (to this point, others ahead of him that haven't finished)

Yeah, been watching that...

Gonna take a few more breakdowns of those ahead to move up very much at this rate.

The ASO has angered the racing god with their bullshit so he is intervening lol
