Robby should add a “Legends of Super Truck Series” invite some of the Legends of Offroad Racing to run a race during the Stadium Super Truck Series. Invite 5 or 6 drivers to strap in and race for 10 laps at each race and have a 25 lap champion of champion’s event at the seasons finally. Drivers like Bob Gordon, Larry Ragland, Ivan Stewart, Jim Smith, Walker Evans, Rod Hall, Manny Esquerra, Frank Arciero, Jack Johnson, Bob Richey just to name a few. It would be great to see the guys that made offroad racing great drive again.

Yeah I've mentioned it a couple of times in the different discussions on here . It would be awesome seeing all the old school guys banging fenders and doors again .
It would be a good race, and fun to watch.

But, if the goal was to build a fan base, then these are the wrong drivers. Pull for other racing series - IndyCar, Drag racing, super cross, x games, and yes, even (especially) NASCAR. Do it for charity and get it on broadcast tv. THAT will build interest and build the series. Once it's huge, a legends race will be cool, but until then, it needs to be straight racing, or celebrity events.

+1

I agree with Alan plus Manny wouldn't be able to make it. He passed away behind the wheel of his race truck during Parker a few years back, sad to see him pass but a hellava way to go out.

All those drivers are already welcome to compete in the main show . This would draw in all the old school fans who remember the MTEG series .

? where would this fit in the race day schedule? who's paying for wear and tear? and will the trucks used be ready for the main event?
How about letting the series get it legs before straping on more burden's? Just say'n

I'm thinking maybe just 2 trucks at each event . Maybe a 5 - 10 lapper before the main . Maybe have whichever 2 legends are at the show do autographs and stuff before hand . Basically just shooting ideas out there .

Look I see wires hangin'
