Robby Gordon was on Claire B Lang's show on XM Radio tonight ( 8-29-12 ) and he is not too happy about getting fined 25k for the helmet toss ( No fine for Tony Stewart for his throw ) .

Recap -In 2005, Robby Gordon got fined 25k from nascar for the helemt toss on Mike Waltrip, plus a 10k fine for his TV interview ( dropping the SHIT bomb ) . Tony Stewart throws his helmet at Matt Kenseth, receives no fine.

Ya gotta listen to a snippet from the XM radio replay on 8-29 with Claire B Lang

Once the UFC became popular, throwing helmets is okay...LOL.

Just shedding a little humor on something that pissed me off...

If I remember correctly Robby got on his radio right after and said that'll be 25k

SEE???
15k fine!!!

The fines are always lower in NW

I may be wrong, but I thought Robby got fined for calling MW and piece of shit on National TV not for throwing the helmet, or was this a different time.

10k for that :)

Same ole NASCRAP bullshit . All over the place with they're " interpretation " of they're rules . Gotta love Robby for telling them how it is and speaking the truth !!!
My opinion is RG also just told the world he has no plans to come back to NASCAR. Pointing out Helton's biased ness will not be taken well by the NASCAR mafia. Good for RG, NASCAR will regret when guys like him and the Busch boys are gone. Like them or hate them, like he said the personalities do most the entertaining

I agree Captain....but the personalities do All the entertaining. Nascars living in the past thinking the driver's need them...in the old day's they did, they only need Nascar now if they want to continue flying around in there Citation's. RG ain't no sheep..and just like a corporation, they don't like those type's..it's simply do what your told!

NASCAR needs the Tony Stewarts and Robby Gordons of the world. They don't take no crap and give 150% ALL the time. NASCAR, to some degree, is a lesser place without Robby. Professional motorsports is a place where talented racers put EVERYTHING on the line each time they get in the vehicle. EVERYTHING !!!!!

i have not watched a nascar race since RG stopped showing up... and only watched the portions of the races before when he was S&P. nascar is big on brand and driver loyalty. i am sure i am not the only RG fan that has stopped watching nascar. Someone above said it best... nascar needs the robby's and the tony's, and even the kurt's. this sport is not the gentlemen's competition they are trying to make it out to be. bring on Crandon! hopefully we get good news on Dakar soon! Gas On. i am spent.............

When Tony tossed his hat the first thing that went through my mind was "And he will be handed the keys to the city for it". I'm sure we all at some point have felt the double standard, and for some here i'm sure the better part of it rather than the less, it's an intrusive, insulting, and lonely feeling when conditions, consequences and outcome are placed loosely around not the crime and infraction but rather the individual. In that light "actions detrimental to stock car racing" should piss any person off when Sally gets screwed and Judy gets a lolly pop, however to debate it further I would paint myself in a corner and lord knows we all should try to hide who we really are, as for the guy at the machine shop who now has a girlfriend with a lap top I know him as a cry baby as he spits numbered words out, and manages a sentance that went "You see Mike, I told you Robby Gordon was a complainer". This person (we shall call him Mike as well) shows who he is at all times, he only knows one road and it aint the high one. Should Rob have taken his high road on this ......I don't think so. He had a right to express his displeasure and not hearing the call in or even the snippet at this point I say this as a matter of principle. Society itself is drifting further and quickly to the double standard as the standard as being the rule and sadly NASCAR rules the roost in this thought proccess. The big see YA to NASCAR I hope not in the "fun races" in the future when things are under control.

Michael, just wondering, if it's not to much to ask, do you have any pics of Sally?
