2012 Sonoma Race Weekend Info & Discussion

Join in here and discuss all the weekend action for the 2012 Sonoma cup race. Robby Gordon will attempt to qualify the #7 Mapei Dodge into the field on Friday & will run the full race on Sunday. Gordon finished 18th at this track in 2011 & won the race in 2003. Here is the weekend schedule for RGM at the California track.

FRIDAY , JUNE 22nd

Practice 3:00pm - 4:30 pm/et ( TV - SPEED )
Qualifying 6:40pm - 8:00 pm/et ( TV - SPEED - TAPE DELAY AT 11:00pm/et )

If that's the case he should have a few agendas 1- Win Race, 2- If car is not up to par...go out with a bang! Notice served to Joey Logano & anyone else he can think of that he owes!

There is a lot of conflicting reports on "the twitter" on this. Some being just last of year, with a few next year. It will be sad if it's true, but probably the best business decision

I could buy it being his last race in an RGM car. He might be able to get some more rides in a nationwide or cup car for the road courses or even daytona or talladega

If true I don't know how Dodge can continue in the series.

This will make Sundays a lot easier to predict.
Only reason to watch nastycar is to root for Robby.
If he leaves "which I hope he does" I will not watch it unless I am laying around and there is absoluty nothing else on.

Get full time back into the world he is loved in.
