RG Fans---Just a thought. It would be so cool to see RG driving the #33 for Richard Childress at Talladega. If nothing else just to see what RG can do with top flight equipment/motors to compare against what we have at RGM. Maybe RG could pick up some information while in the garage area. I know---go ahead and blast my post---I admit it's a little bit crazy

Well I sure don't see Dodge stepping up to the plate to do shit.

Hell he said in the interview a few weeks ago that they are not even returning his calls.

Don't think Robby is going to be in the 33. But if he was, and he finished well. It would send a very strong message to Dodge that all his team needs is MONEY! So they should step up.

At this point I would love to see Robby run in any car, Cup or Nationwide. If it was the 33, great. However, I am not getting my hopes up on anything other than Sonoma and Watkins Glen.

From the outside it looks like RGM's days with Dodge are done after this year. The fact that Robby is keep in the 7 off the track until the road courses is an indication that he has shelved the engine program with Joey Arrington becuase they are just not fast enough to qualify . Rather than wasting time, resources and money by leasing motors for a S&P effort, might as well just race the races where he can can win and lease enigines for those races.

Robby could bring SPEED over for the race win the race and get great exposure for the drink. We alll k ow he is capable of winning with the right equipment. Robby is the man. Do it

At this point there is only one thing that remains for NAZICAR. Preserving ones dignity. Not that there is much dignity is running around with your pride shoved up your steak dispenser being a corporate yes man in order to get in "The Big Show". However in the eyes of the racing world, being in that show is a chevron of sorts, a way to say "I am amongst the best". Side note here: There are countless hundreds of race drivers that will never get the chance to sniff the pavement let alone race on it, that posses the raw skill set to be a part of this SHOW. Not based on talent it's just the way things are and it is a bit of a squelching of the truth to say these are the best drivers in the world here in NASC.......bLAH bLAH bLAH eTCeTC. In any event if for whatever reason Robby Gordon was to drive another car it would be a good thing, if it is dignified by the man himself. Something along the lines of "While I am building my own brand to bring the 7 car back to NASCAR full time I'm lucky enough to get to drive the ________________ for ________________ and try to continue the winning I have been enjoying in other forms of racing" or" I'm sure there are folks out there wondering what this is all about but for now it's all about putting the ______________ for __________________ in victory lane" I dought this will ever come to light, it would be easier for someone who has not put so much work in and of himself to side step his own ventures to climb into another car. Perhaps side step is incorrect but I don't have enough beer for everybody and thus what I should really say would be too hard to understand sober or at least not in a cooperative mood. What's that try any way? No I can't, Every time I try and say that a man should do what he wants and F--Every one else in the name of living life all the while be a kind hearted sort just the same with a tricky and fickle balance like some sort of under the gun funambulist in the name of perception if nothing else, folks get bent out of shape and instead of looking into a mans eyes conclusions are drawn to satisfy their own suspicions and desires.Self gratification and stimulation have no home under my roof, so no I won't say it. Not doing perhaps what should, could and would be done but doing what, should could and would be done "for reasons" people get the wrong idea. If reality dictates for a little while Robby Gordon owns a part time Cup team and wheels a few for someone else I say kudos. I don't even like using someones fishing equipment and not mine, I could not even begin to know the feelings Rob would have climbing into a cup car for anyone but himself as his sits stewing in its own stagnation. In the end Robby Gordon is doing what Robby Gordon is gonna do and a pity ..........no not pity, a shame some nut with the nuts was not in line after Jim Beam moved on to give closure to the full potential not as a racer (is there any dought?) but give full closure to the man. If I got the chance to drive 200 MPH I'd jump at the chance even if it was driving off a cliff so I ..............I'm not against Rob wheeling for another team a few times..............However he's doing what he's doing lets watch that that for now.

Well said. I'll add this:

"[ insert sanctioning body ] drivers (with full race sponsorship) are the best in the world."

Ride buyers and corporate whores have killed Tier 1 racing. The next Senna, Foyt, Gurney, and Earnhardt, Sr. are out there, but we'll never know them. Damn. Shame.

funny

OMG ! Too funny...

oh man...thats priceless
