@Brett , I read somewhere that Arrington was doing (Chevrolets) for one of the newbe CUP teams. I'm guessing,but I'd think RGM will use Penske restrictor plate engines for Daytona and possibly Talladega.

And yes you are correct, Robby's qaulifying times suck at RP races.Robby needs to race his way in during the 150's IMO

Anyone catch Austin Dillon talking about Pop Pop ( AKA Richard Childress ) driving Robby's TT on the farm and having it up on 2 wheels and saving it from a roll over. That was on NASCAR Race Hub today.

Its a crap shoot at best. If he and the 21 are in the same line up he will have a better that average chance, If not who knows.

I disagree. I think Robby gets in. If they just qualified I would think his chances were slim, but with the Duels...Robby can race his way in. He doesn't have to win, just beat the other teams trying to get in. Robby is great at plate tracks. I think you'll see some packs and push drafting mixed...it could be all about getting to the front and staying out of trouble...

No more team orders...no radio communication between drivers! Just latch on and push until you get warm...

No team orders my ass- are the spotter's going to stand in individual cones of silence? Spotters will be running around like chickens with there heads cut off.

Just remember, you can have a crap car and still get in the 500 if you get hooked up with the right person at the right time (aka... the 92 getting hooked up with his brother last year).

Wish the season started already cause I can't wait to see Robby in the Duels knowing he'll have a great run & put himself in position to make the field. Wonder which paint scheme he'll use. I know last year he raced the Speed Energy Orange car....
