Hearing rumblings...any truth to this...thought Monster wanted nothing to do with NASCAR?

Or was that before SPEED Energy came along...

Zoom, stop eating paint chips! This is a bigger oppertunity for them to grab MORE attention & exclusivity clauses WHICH IS BAD FOR SPEED...Just like all the damn mentions of our biggest competitor. Now as for the math, I'm a lil upset I have to climb up on the short bus & take off my gloves so you can count my fingers but... Each Monster sponsored athelete gets a check for endosement. There are now 2 sponsored athletes for one car. Thus allowing twice the funding to a single team. Now that I've done the hard math for you ALL. STOP talking about fucking Monster, & go use the power of social media IN OUR FAVOR. Thank you, that is all. DISMISSED!

I need a visual aid, I suck at math!

Please,
It looks like they just took Robby's car from two years ago and changed the number. Not even original.

Perhaps the departures of NOS, Red Bull, and for all intents and purposes, AMP, have made Nascar more appealing for Monster?

Monster is really scraping the bottom of the barrel, Goodluck with the shrub he'll be sure to garner them plenty of bad press.

[yawn]wow this is awesome news[/yawn]

•Kyle, Kurt Busch to run full Nationwide season with Monster Energy: Kyle Busch Motorsports announced that it has signed a multi-year agreement with Monster Energy Company as primary sponsor of the team's #54 Monster Energy Camry in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Team owner Kyle Busch, the all-time race winning driver in the history of the NASCAR Nationwide Series, will share driving duties with his brother Kurt Busch, the 2004 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion. Kyle will drive the season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway and the subsequent four races through California before splitting the balance of the season with Kurt. The team's goal will be to capture an Owner's Championship in its inaugural race season, similar to the Owner's Championship accomplished by KBM in its first full season in the Camping World Truck Series in 2010. The development of this duo as teammates fits perfectly for primary team sponsor Monster Energy, who foregoes traditional forms of advertising and instead seeks brand exposure through the use of Extreme Athletes. With Monster Energy looking for increased presence across the NASCAR fan base, the company identified the Busch brothers as the drivers that best fit its family of Monster Energy Team Athletes. To complement the driver lineup, and ensure a strong competitive advantage, KBM brings industry veteran and winning crew chief Mike Beam into the fold as the #54 Monster Energy Camry team leader. Beam is a long-time fixture in NASCAR who has accomplished career victories across all three major touring series. At an early age, Mike became a successful contributor towards a variety of competitive racing organizations including Petty Enterprises and Roush Fenway Racing.(KBM), see an image of the car on the #54 team paint scheme page.(1-19-2012)

I would never have imagined this back Dec 30th or so... all I can say is good for them. Monster always liked the "bad boy" image and I think this is a good match... Now the questions is how long this sibling team will last or even function?

Folks, re the this and the Busch bros, 'if you only knew how little I really cared'. :-)

Seems like a good fit to me

I will never cheer for them but it is a super smart play for monster. Good press or bad press Monster will recieve exposure with the Busch bros. Kurts stock is pretty low, why not buy. Its business.

whoop de do monster tastes like the shrub bros personalities....ASS . What we need to do is keep getting the Speed product into new hands stores and Bellies.
