I will be!! Who is the weatherman and why is he called that?

Weather man gives reports on race, injuries, emergencies and stuff like that.

For those of you who don’t know about the Weatherman, he’s a legendary figure in the Baja 1000. He volunteers each year, setting up a radio outpost on top of a windy mountaintop. He becomes the central relay point for all communications during the race. He has saved many a life during these races.

Thanks Matt. I knew he was the communication guy but why the name "weatherman"?

I have no clue...he's more like an air traffic controller than a weatherman.

To see the Weatherman and Baja at it's best, check out "Dust to Glory" the movie. Very Cool.

1mile behind 3rd place TT

Is there a way to make the tracker refresh quicker. Mine doesn't match up. Shows Robby way back like 9th of all the Trophy Trucks on the track and he's been sitting in the same position at 77 mph for 10 minutes now. I guess I'll restart my IRC.

Hey guys, what is up with the McMillan entries 31 & 31 B? Are there actually two (2) trucks running nose to tale or just one truck?

Ok, going there now.

There's just one 31 truck...he's just riding up vanderwey's ass at the moment. lol

Robert: he runs 2 gps units in case one fails
