So, will Robby let it all hang out and go for the poll or hold back since he's out of the top 35 in owner points this weekend in Sonoma ?

He's in the top-35 with the 21 not racing there...
Will not go for the pole.
Make the race play it smart then go for it when needed.
Robby is locked in...he will push it a bit in qualifying.
I don't see why he wouldn't go for the pole, he's locked in.
Should go for the pole.
If he wants to win he needs to get a top 5 in Q
if he's going to play the fuel mileage game, which netted him a P2 last year, then the pole is out.
So who's going to be there on Friday to watch him go for the pole?
We will be parked inside turn 7 RV spot 74. If you are in the neighborhood stop by just look for the Funmover with the big KTM on the side and the Jim Beam Fusion flag flying high.
My guess is going to go for it. Better starting position is important. That is just my opinion.....Oh last year started 16th. Hope Robby brought the "BIG" brakes for this race........
I don't think he has the horsepower to get the pole. It is pathetic to see how underpwered he seems to be this year. With Dodge only having 3 teams it is a travesty he doesn't have better motors this year. I hope he pulls a rabbit out of the hat but I am not real confident.
Put yourself in position for the win. Don't risk a bad Q run by going for P1 if it is not feasible.
