nothing is ever set in stone at RGM.... that is part of the excitement!!!!!
Like gold "They are always digging it up.........somewhere else"
If the team takes time off I will switch to strictly watching NAZICARs' game on a replay basis.
My bones are old my mind is sharp spend my time wisely when Rob is MIA
To whoever was sitting a few rows back from me in Turn 1, I had a great time root in' for Robby with you on Sunday! Pictures coming soon!
From the # 13 web site. Casey nat to happy getting out of the car after the race.

"The Mears-Gordon partnership proved to be productive and the pair were inside the Top 10 with just eight laps remaining in the race. It was then that Gordon made a decision to go it alone and pulled out of line and passed Mears, causing both cars to free-fall to 23rd position with just five laps left on the docket. Mears would re-engage Gordon and attempt to make up positions lost, but it was too late. Despite the setback, Mears still managed to hustle the #13 GEICO Camry to a 22nd place finish"

“22nd is a decent finish, but it’s frustrating knowing that we should’ve been in the Top 5,” a visibly frustrated Mears exclaimed after climbing from the #13 GEICO Camry. “We weren’t out there just racing today, we were out there competing for the win. We had a great car and I’m proud of this GEICO team for all of their hard work. The pit crew did a great job today and we did all we could to make it happen. Unfortunately, you just can’t control what other people are going to do. But we had a really good day and it was nice to be able to take GEICO to the front of the field.”
What a punk.
Eh people get caught up in the moment... Especially drivers who just get out of the car. Its the best time to get a candid comment. RG was either running hot, or backed off to try and avoid Blaney spinning.
it's a publicist's job to polish a turd.A teams post race report usually has little to do with reality.
Casey's perception of a top 10 was only with Penske power pushing. Anyone else remember Brad K. pushing brother Brian's turd into the Daytona 500?
"polishing a turd", just like RG always saying "we were running laps as fast as the leaders" when the #7 was on it's way to a 32nd place finish. Gotta say something positive.
All the bitchin' and moanin' won't change the outcome. On to Richmond!
Agreed. Robby had a good car and actually did make it into the top ten with a solid drafting partner who stuck with him. The chips just didn't fall the right way. Talladega is a crap shoot and it is best not to assume Robby is going to finish in a certain position going in to the race because there are just too many variables. Agreed 20th is not what everybody hopes for at a competitive track for RGM, but there is no point in brewing over it after the fact. Racing is supposed to be fun Dammit and I for one had fun watching Robby go to the front at the end. At least RG didn't end up with a wadded up race car and a 35th place finish.
totally agree R. E. O.
the only happy driver after a race is in victory circle......everybody else..........not so much.
