Rally for Robby - Speed Energy edition.
TMS is giving Robby crap about promoting Speed Energy at thier track. They towed the show car, and forced RGM to remove all of the Speed Energy from the track - no free samples can be given away. They're citing the tracks Red Bull sponsorship as the reason. More exclusivity bullshyte.
We need to let TMS know that they are alienating fans. They have a twitter account that someone follows, so let's blast them. If you have a twitter account, use it, if you don't, go sign up for one.

If the Speedway is riding Robby out on a rail so to speak while allowing other brands of the same type of product to remain without any financial compensation or prearranged agreement that could stand to be a foundation for legal action. That's what one half of my brain says.The other half says F U Bruton Smith or your track prez/manager or both or all three or whatever. As far as twitter goes i'll send one if I can get my account going it's a while for me using it i'm just lazy or behind the times or both I guess.
P.S. We reserve the right to do whatever we feel the need to.

I also fired off an email to Larry Mac, he has been very good over the years getting back to me. Here is what I wrote.
Larry, I'm not at all familiar with and or to what degree your loyalty resides within the warm financial cuddling arms of NASCAR is in your private life. I'm not fully abreast as to who employs you other than FOX. I'm not sure what side of the fence you walk on or which side of the tracks you live on so to speak when it comes to your current professional outlook and where your loyalty may lay. However from watching you for quite some time I've come to conclude that in my mind you know what is what and who is who but have to answer to a higher power and for the most part you are held back on the opinion side of things from time to time.However for my knowledge and from your own knowledge I was hoping you can shine some light on the interworkings of what went on at Texas Motor Speedway and why Robby Gordon had his product black listed of sorts and if any other same type of products fell to the same tune. Thank You. I look forward to hearing your inside view and facts whatever they may be.

Yes, at the 2010 fall Texas race track personal towed RG's personal truck with the Speed Energy logo on it.

I don't remember which track it was but NASCAR would NOT let Robby on the track with Verizon sponsorship on the race car another time with Motorola they had a similar experience. Sorry I can't remember the tracks or dates .
