For those who may have just logged on, Robby Gordon has finished the 2010 Baja 1000 in 2nd place. The #21 of Tavo Vildosola was the winner. Robby had a broken driveshaft that costed him about 10 minutes & he believes that was the difference in the win. Congrats to the entire #1 Team Gordon SPEED Energy crew for a job well done. Thanks to all in chat who kept the updates flowing.Lets get ready for 2011 Dakar ! Stay tuned for baja 1000 photos & videos from RGM .

Article on the race, with comments & picture http://atv.off-road.com/competition/race/gustavo-vildosola-jr-and-s...

Once out front, the Vildosola team never looked back. The stiffest competition for the team later in the race came from Robby Gordon, who finished in second place 22 minutes, and 18 seconds behind the winners.

“We lost GPS and we were running blind, and I just drove it off the road and into the rocks,” Gordon said. “I thought we were going to pull it off with our very first race with Speed Energy, but we just came up a little bit short.”
Thanks Jaci
Robby Gordon and team congratulations, the second is already a very good position in this race but that is the most difficult and dangerous of all races score.
Congratulations on a very good run! And thanks for the Robby Tracker; it was very entertaining!
Great momentum leading into the Dakar!
Congrats to Robby and team . Now I'm really ready for Dakar!
Great job RGOR! I know that Robby would never agree with this, but 2nd place in this race is not bad. There's probably at least 1000 things that can take you out of the event. On to Dakar and 2011 without tranny or driveshaft demons.
Congratulations to Robby on a hard fought race!
Great Job Robby!!!! Love that orange truck. Don't change that color.
