2009 Las Vegas Race Weekend Discussion

Join in here and discuss all the weekend activities at Las Vegas for Robby Gordon. Here is the schedule for the weekend,all times eastern standard. First practice is Friday, Feb 27 at 3:00 pm , followed by Qualifying at 6:30pm , 2 practices on Saturday,Feb 28, and the race is on Sunday ,March 1st at 3:30 pm. Don't forget live chat on Sunday, from 10am-10pm.

Last week at cali. Most all of the toyotas ran strong in quals. I believe they tweaked the motors for qualifying then brought them back for race trim. As with the article you mentioned... I'm willing to bet that RGM is concerned with it and didn't "tweak" the motor for qual. that's my guess.

Im surprised no comments about AJ's Harrahs' scheme looking just like RG's old one, only less balanced.

I don't think it's that big of a deal. Who is to say that Harrahs didn't design the scheme from day one, and RGM incorporated it to all the other sponsors schemes in 2005 ?

MWR and Red Bull engines from TRD in Cosa Mesa are having problems. Is RG using these same engines?

Harvick average speed 179.678
Robby average speed 174.754

#7 dead last and almost a whole MPH slower than 42nd. What the hell!
