Sorry, I was being sarcastic towards the statement about saving money by building metal ramps...

Somebody asked on another Forum if this was SST's way of saving money after seeing this video.

"Trying to save money already? Dirt is what makes OFF-ROAD..."

Here is Robby's response:

Brian, Trust me we are not trying to save money, these ramps when were done will be very expensive. they must fold up and be off the track in 5 minutes. The idea is to introduce the best form of racing to the world. Off Road racing is the best secrets in the Racing World and this is what I have been told by many corporate types.

Now with regards to Marketing and Promotion, where in Off Road Racing besides the Dakar Rally now in South America do we race where there is 300,000 people over a three day weekend?

The Current Short Course Off Road Racing has a audience of a maximum of 5,000 people Trust me we Counted seats and rows at Elsinore and Glen Helen and 5,000 is being nice. Crandon has more that that but bits a event weekend not a race. Current Short Course is a back gate business and the teams are supporting the business not fans from outside. The Racing is awesome and the Teams are doing a good job but the business model doesn't work.

Hope to see you at the races, Road Racing with Jumps is one of the coolest things I have ever done, these Trucks remind me of a Trans Am car, V8 Super Car with 24" of travel. We have done a lot of testing with the SST's on Pavement and had a Truck in Laguna Seca when we were thesting these ramps back In NC.

Our Franchise model will change Off Road Racing, other franchised sports like NFL and MLB work because they have a unified marketing sale and promotions around them.
