Just like how I drive the plow truck at work, minus the jumps. Don’t change the angle of the blade, change the angle of the truck (they hate it when I say that). It’s supposed to snow all night tomorrow, now I just need to get an Aerosmith tape to listen to.

@Tim, WOW! I remember the class 11's. I always respected any driver combo in those cars. And for all those out there reading this, what became the class 11, is what trully started off road racing as we know it today. I feel for ya there Tim.

@TOOL in 77 we ran a class 11a in snore trust me i know about the pounding
fiberglass seats and swing axles

@Dave welcome to the world of Off Road racing. Many of us in here have many years of knowledege, and are willing to hook a brother up. Ask away! If you have alot of questions all at once, that might hijack a thread. You can always PM me or others in here.
Regarding the pains of racing. I raced a factory stock Toyota Pickemup, way back in the late 80's. With the limited wheel travel,we got our brains bashed in during a race. I always wore a kidney belt, gloves, two layer fire suit, and a used helmet. We were poor children trying to race! After and sometimes midway thru an event the shoulder straps and lap belts would bruise the piss out of me bad,and even sometimes being so tight, I would get cut by the belts and bleed just a tiny bit. Nothing big,but dam I would hurt for a few days let me tell you.

from the MT video... "The Ironman 39 year old Ivan.Stewart" holy crap. I always though of Ivan as the old man. He was "only 39!" man I am old.

Thanks Mike for the info, but they still look like violent landings to the person that's never done it not to say I wouldn't love to try it!

@Dave, Mastercraft makes a great suspension seat. However, I'm not sure they meet competition requirements. However, when refering to the suspension, I'll fall back on RG's post Toureg Dakar. He hated the suspension in that thing. Said "it wrecked my back." I can also testify that RG wouldn't hit our infield slide at Chicagoland because "my backs taken too much of a beating over the years for that". His golf cart dd, Dylan Kwasniewski (ahem, current K&N West Champ) hit it like 8-9 times though, lol Dylan even grabbed an m-t 24pack cardboard, to get more SPEED....ah good times.
Anyhow, if RG is blasting these ramps, you can bet that suspension is tuned to float...especially if he plans on running more than once.
