I had forgotten about the v drive but never dawned on me that the differential would be offset.Thanks for the reminder Mike, it was a good read...again! Planet Premium has some great stuff! Really pays to belong!!

Ah, the "v" drive! I've seen it in boats but never in a car. Thanks Ken, that makes sense!

@Dave. It off to the left. Thats just how its done on Robby's. The engine is hehind the driver facing backwards. The driveshaft comes towards the front, then back to the diff.

Watch 3:50 as they jack the truck & the jack slips...that was one lucky kid! He was almost left handed! Is the differential off center almost all the way to left? Is that the way it's done or am I seeing things?
