One of the first NASCAR Truck Series races in 1994

It was during the Winter Heats at Tucson. This was a non championship event, to try out the then new series. Only 16 trucks, but Robby was driving one of them, and also P.J. Jones, Hornaday, Skinner, Benson, Rob MacCachren.

Thanks Bruno for the flash from the past.Look at where most of the drivers from that race are today! Tucson was a great track and Winter Heat was a great idea.

For those who may not know, the idea for the Truck Series came from group of SCORE off-road racers who wanted a bigger audience for truck racing.
