I will add we would love to be involved in SST, but to the best of my knowledge all of their work is done in house.
@Hendricus, this production was funded by our love of motorsports, we are looking to get more involved in short course, and what better way than to show up and make something to show everyone what we have to offer? No client for this particular video, but there are some promising leads.
@mj, I will be shooting the 2nd day of the TORC race at Primm this month, as well as the Ultra4 Nationals the day prior in Las Vegas next.
@J.R. Sands, thanks for posting, that was our first King of the Hammers movie we did, been doing em ever since! Just released number 3, 2013's "Vindication" this past month.
love how it captures the SST momentum, the music is great different from the usual. top of the line 1st class video
@HM, I hope you caught the sarcasm in my last comment. In straightforward speak, it's pretty clear to me now that you are quite professional. I don't know the big names in the area of motorsport video, but you seem to be up there with the best of them. Now I'm curious how such a production is funded. It's not clear from the video of Crandon who the driving brand is. Again, share only as far as you are comfortable.
@HM, just looked at your fb page. Ya..., I'd say your a few videos beyond a weekend amateur. I thought so.
I only spent a few minutes looking through your fb post. I will look more later. But from what I saw, it seems you spend quite a bit of time in the rock crawling world. It's all good to me!
Yes my living is motorsports media at the moment. More of our work can be found at our website in the portfolio, www.heavymetalconcepts.com. Thank you for the kind words, I am glad everyone enjoyed it. Slow motion when used effectively can definitely highlight a dramatic moment that otherwise would have been over in the blink of an eye.
HeavyMetal, do you make racing videos professionally? Or, asked in a broader sense, do you make a living at making videos? Maybe not racing videos, but some other kind? Have you gone to school for this?
I ask as friendly chat. Simply to get to know you. Please don't feel like I'm interrogating you. If you don't feel like disclosing these things, I'm fine. But please do keep making and sharing racing videos! Okay? You are good at it!
