Great video, guess Nasser figures who needs a road when you got a RGM Hummer!! LOL.
This is an awesome vid!!!! I know what rob is going through with that nervous cough, I get the same thing before I do something big.
@Mark, the exhaust note is due to the LS firing order.18726543 ,while numbered differently, effectively the same as a Ford 351. The TT also has a LS based engine.Same firing order, unmuffled, enjoy

I love these videos. Someone needs to compile this into one DVD when the race is over. Thanks TOG for all the hard work. GO ROBBY. I am proud to be a Robby Fan.
Great to see Baja Bob lol Robby Senior....He is a bad ass also ,,,, apple doesnt fall far from the tree
Robby usually has about 5 or 6 individually wrapped cough drops taped to his dash.
The exhaust note of the Hummers sounds much smoother and higher pitched than is typical of a large V-8. Are these engines using a 180 degree crankshaft? Like Olds Aurora V-6 in the Indy Light cars some years back. Or are they using a 180 degree header, like the original Ford GT-40 race cars in which the 2 inner cylinders of each bank is tied to the 2 outer cylinders of the opposite bank? I didn't see such an exhaust arrangement on 7gason7's detail photos a couple of days ago that showed the evolution of the spare tire carrier, but wasn't looking for that at the time. However I have been noticing the exhaust sound---much higher and smoother.
RG has had that cough for years. probably welders lung. I had it when I used to restore a lot of steel bodied cars. Breathing in metal shavings while grinding welds. Gotta wear a mask. "It's a man sport not a mouse sport"
Blaze your own trail. This Arab is loco. Loving it.
