I will take whatever you can find...no problem. I am resting and getting somethings done around here this weekend...I have only been in one earthquake back in the early 80's, I was having a bridal shower for my cousin at my parents house and the whole house started shaking and the glasses in the cabinets where clinking like crazy. It only lasted a few seconds. My cousin's sister was stationed in Guam with her husband and they had earthquakes all the time and she yelled "its an earthquake!!" otherwise I would have never known. Don't have them much in OHIO! Have a great weekend! Can wait until next weekend!
I heard the earth was shaking in your part of the country. Here I thought you were going to have to wait until next weekend before you got to start rockin!
Hi...thanks!! I do not have a backpack...was thinking about that yesterday...I will take red or green...or anything you have will do...Thanks so much!! slingback will work if you have any if not...no big deal...You are so thoughtful...thanks again!
Hi Sarah - waiting for the weekend, was very busy this a.m., but things quieted down after lunch. I actually had time to look at Episode 7 of Speed Facotry. It's a riot - I won't tell you if you haven't seen it yet - There is a good interview with Robby and his family and what his Mom says about him. I really liked this one. Have a good weekend and I hope to do the same. It's hotter than Hades here, so will try to stay cool, have to take out a loan to pay my AC bill. LOL Joan
Thats the best way to do it sharing expenses... I liked indy car before nascar so the brickyard is at the top of the list for me... My mom and my aunts and uncles would always go there... Its cool because my aunt and uncles are all coming in from California this weekend and I cant wait to see them... Im heading up to New York City at the begining of August for a mission trip with my friends from church... I like helping people out that are less fortunate... Im ready for the weekend too... I hope everythinggoes well for you in Pa
Thanks Sarah, i really dont announce my birthday, Sherri just has a real good memory, hehe. I will be in and out here for the next few weeks. I have cousins in this week and part of next and then Diabetes camp the 1st week of August
Yeah we did go over the bridge but i would have liked to stop and checked out the scenic view... I bet its beautiful in October with the leaves changing.... Wow your always going somewhere to watch a race so thats awesome... Your friend will be goin soon with you... All the history at the brickyard too... I would love to go there... Im going to one of these races sometime soon. My buddy wants to go to bristol but he always backs out on me...
Yeah, Jerry has a limit, and unfortunately he passed his. He isn't quite as addicted as I am. Daytona, Indy, Prelude & Loudon was enough for him this year. He probably won't even watch the race, so updates won't be necessary other than to let him know we are alive and having fun.
Can't believe we are going back to Indy! Weren't we just there? Didn't we just go to a race a few weeks ago? 3 races together this year, this is getting serious! After all these races this year, do you think Jerry is going to send me to raceholics anonymous?
Im glad your friend doing better... Im still praying for her... On the way back we drove through the New River Gorge and viewed the mountains before we got back on 79... Its beautiful... I just got home from Morgantown because we had to move 60 cars from Scott Cs lot on the mileground to Morgantown Mall for the tent sell that starts tomorrow... I hope your having good week
well today was adventurous! We had flooding just about everywhere. I got my bus, and we detoured, and circumvented, etc. till we got to the terminal, then my 2nd bus also detoured around flooded streets, we went streets I had never seen before. Got here 1/2 hr. late, and Marc said it took him an hour to get here (a 15 min. drive) WHAT A MESS - hope going home is better. Joan
Hi Sarah - after Robby smashed into Bill Elliot, it ws pretty much done for me. I waited for the interview after Robby got out of the care center. It was brief, and you could tell how disappointed he was - he just slammed on the brakes and locked the wheels so it would not turn - it was a pretty hard hit. Sorry for Harvick too, his car was junk this weekend. We ar eupposed to get rain too, but it's 90 deg. San Diego is cooler than here. Joan
I had a good time in Florida... I liked driving home through WV... Its beautiful state... I went to yough dam yesterday and went tubing... It was fun... I heard a great message at service today... Its pretty cool that you go to all these races and travel alot... I hope your trip to PA went well and your friend is doing better...
T-storms brewing here - office is quiet today. Qualifying at 6:00 our time, hope I get home in time and hope RG gets a good starting position. I am so proud of my self, I actually was able to log onto facebook and get Speedfactory.tv - I froze my computer once trying but I finally succeded. I was even able to leave a comment about the "stiffy car" and food at Waltrips venue. One of these days I may actually be able to navigate the net. Joan
Hi Sarah - I too love the warmth, I could live on a tropical island without a problem. We had 102 and 103 here - todayin the 90s,but it looks ike we may get some rain. I downloaded a photo of Robby & his Dad at Baja and laminated it to a magnet, I have it on my credenza at work along with the photo of Lil Ol Lady from Pasadena. I also have a 7 on my computer and a couple of photos of RG where they are not in the eye of visitors, just me. Wish I could be outside,it's 72 deg. in here and asit gets warmer, it getscolder here. I have a small heater under my desk for when my fingers turn blue. Joan
